sickness Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 The Dark Knight::Two new cast members have joined Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight: Melinda McGraw from CBS' Center of the Universe, and young Babel actor Nathan Gamble. McGraw will play the wife of Gary Oldman's Lieutenant James Gordon. Gamble will reportedly play the Gordons' son -- his name is James, Jr. in the comic. In The Dark Knight, Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Bats sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations of Gotham. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to terrified citizens as The Joker. Body Of Lies:Russell Crowe has stepped in to co-star with Leonardo DiCaprio in BODY OF LIES. DiCaprio signed on to star in the film for Scott back in April. Now Crowe will star in the film as a CIA leader who teams with an agent (DiCaprio) to bring down an Al Qaeda leader by claiming he's really in cahoots with Americans. A Tale of Two Sisters (remake):Arielle Kebbel and Emily Browning will star in DreamWorks Pictures' "A Tale of Two Sisters", the remake of the popular Korean horror-thriller. Elizabeth Banks (Slither), David Strathairn and Emily Browning (Darkness Falls) also star in the pic, helmed by Tom and Charles Guard. Lensing starts in July in Vancouver. The DreamWorks version centers on modern-day teenage sisters Anna and Alex Rydell who return home from a mental hospital only to find their recovery unraveling because of a cruel stepmother, clueless father and a lingering ghost. No story details or any other casting have been confirmed. Bullitt:Brad Pitt will star in a remake of the 1960's classic Bullitt. Pitt will play Lt. Frank Bullitt, who was made famous by silver screen legend Steve McQueen. The movie is about a San Francisco cop hunting down a hitman who killed his fellow officers.
