The Kingdom:

FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury (Jamie Foxx) has just received the assignment of his career: assemble an elite team (Jennifer Garner, Chris Cooper, Jason Bateman) to hunt down and capture the terrorist mastermind responsible for a deadly attack on Americans working in Saudi Arabia. The feds have only one week to infiltrate and cripple a cell bent on jihad to western society.

No training could prepare Fleury and his team for the disorienting culture shock they face once inside this scorching foreign land, Byzantine maze of politicians, shop-front terrorists and double-crossing businessmen who traffic in profiteering and exploit any opportunity to grow ever richer, no matter the human cost. Bound by handlers who refuse to play ball with the US, the agents quickly find the local law enforcement more hindrance than help and soon grow uncertain of anybody's allegiance.

But when a sympathetic Saudi police captain helps them navigate Riyadh politics and investigate the true cause of the attack, Fleury finds an unexpected comrade-in-arms.

The Trailer Park: Mock-Up Tease of "Faces of Death" Remake!

AICN discovered something amazing this morning, something extremely disturbing, something you should only watch if you proceed with caution - click here to watch a mock-up trailer for J.T. Petty's Faces of Death, which is aiming for release sometime in 2007. The trailer will give you a much better idea of what they're going to do with the remake of the series, which shocked millions. When the original movie was released in 1978, it showed explicit death scenes and was banned, at least temporarily, in several countries. While the snuff film entered the domain of urban legend, it later was revealed that the human component and some of the animal scenes were faked, and the move became one of the decade's great hoaxes. The movie, which featured a narrator named Dr. Francis B. Gross, went on to become a cult film and spawned five sequels.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Not only has Ben Barnes been confirmed to be playing the title role in the upcoming "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian", but three other names have been announced. Peter Dinklage will play Trumpkin the Dwarf and Vincent Grass has been cast as Doctor Cornelius, Prince Casplan's mentor. The sequel is scheduled to be released next year.

Metal Gear Solid: The Movie

It's been reported before that the Metal Gear Solid movie was being hacked out (though Kojima prematurely stated that it was a go), and today, Sony Pictures finally announced that the deal's been made to bring Solid Snake and company to the big screen. At the D.I.C.E. Summit earlier this week, Sony Pictures Entertainment vice chairman Yair Landau revealed that the 'party' in Hollywood that series creator Hideo Kojima referred to 8 months ago was Landau's own studio. "We're working with the Metal Gear guys," Landau explained to GameSpot following the announcement.

The Devil in the White City:

Paramount Pictures has once again boarded the bigscreen adaptation of Erik Larson's bestselling tome "The Devil in the White City," a project previously coveted by producing partners Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner. Par reacquired the film rights to the book last month after being approached by producers Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher, whose shingle Double Feature Films has a new first-look deal with the studio.

Larson's nonfiction book, set against the backdrop of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, tells the intertwining stories of fair architect Daniel H. Burnham and serial killer H.H. Holmes, who used a hotel he built near the fairgrounds to lure his victims. Cruise/Wagner Prods. scooped up rights to "White City" in 2003 through the shingle's deal with Par, but the option lapsed in 2004. When the project was set up at Cruise/Wagner, Kathryn Bigelow ("K-19") was attached to direct and produce. Insiders say it stalled over creative differences between Bigelow and Cruise/Wagner.

The Hills Have Eyes 2:

What started with the Carter family, clearly didn’t end with the Carter family.

As part of a routine mission, a unit of National Guard soldiers stop at a New Mexican outpost only to find the isolated research camp mysteriously deserted. After spotting a distress signal in a distant mountain range, the team decides to commence a search and rescue mission into the hills. Little do they know that these are the very hills that the ill-fated Carter family once visited, and that a tribe of cannibalistic mutants lies in wait. And this time, there is an even larger force of evil at work that is intent on the soldiers’ very destruction.

The Hills Have Eyes 2 storms into theaters on March 23.

Hot Fuzz:

Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He’s so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel’s superiors send him to a place where his talents won’t be quite so embarrassing -- the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford.

Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman (Nick Frost). The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent), Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life "bad boy," and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for. Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny’s puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel’s growing frustration.

However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny’s dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality. It's time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.

For those unaware, Dent is a friend of Bruce Wayne and ultimately becomes the villain Two-Face,

Mummy 3: Curse of the Dragon

Universal’s third MUMMY venture, currently prepping for a July 11, 2008 release, is undergoing big changes as it relocates its pulpy exploits from the arid climates of Egypt to China. Not only will the locale be significantly different for this franchise entry, to be directed by Rob (FAST AND THE FURIOUS) Cohen that Jet Li is the new bandaged baddie. The Asian martial arts star won’t be playing Imhotep; instead, Li is the leading mummy member of the former Teracotta army. Cohen also stated that fellow HK action veteran Michelle Yeoh is on board; however, her managers have confirmed she has not officially signed to the project.

As has been previously reported, the third film will center predominantly on Alex O’Connell, Rick and Evy’s son from the second chapter, who is now in his 20s and every bit the adventurer his father (played by returning actor Brendan Fraser) is.

The Bruck and Bowden have already collaborated on non-fiction detonation with BLACK HAWK DOWN. Bowden is writing the JIHADISTS screenplay for the movie, which involves the Phillipines Islamic terrorist faction Abu Sayyaf and leader Aldam Tilao, who took twenty hostages from a diving resort and dragged several through the jungle for over a year. Tilao was ultimately found and killed by the CIA and Filipino military.

SAW 4:
