deathscythe0402
Efren Bata Reyes and Lee Van Corteza.
Only one hope remained. Carlo Biado is the lone Filipino cue artist that can claim the 9-ball glory for the Philippines. Lee Vann Corteza, Jeff Ignacio, Jeffrey de Luna, Warren Kiamco, Bebeng Gallego, Johann Chua and Roberto Gomez succeeded n the group stages but were eliminated in the knockout stages. Dennis Orcollo also made it to the knockout stage but lost in the round of 32 to jayson Shaw of Great Britain. Biado beat Bebeng in the round of 64 and former champion Thorsten Hohmann in the round of 32. Biado will face the younger brother of last year's champion int he round of 16. He has to beat Ko PIng Chung to advance to the quarter final. and awaiting in the quarter finals is Filipino-Canadian Alex Pagulayan, a former world 9 ball champion. he will face the winner of Biado-Chung match. it is a very tough road to glory. Good luck to Carlo Biado and also to half Fil. Alex Pagulayan. Quote Link to comment
deathscythe0402
not again for SVB. Shane Van Boening failed again to capture the 9 ball world title as he succumbed to a 13-6 loss to Albin Ouschan. SVB was almost sweeping the US pool circuit winning tourneys after tourneys, but this time he faltered again in the grandest stage of them all. Quote Link to comment

deathscythe0402
Jayson Shaw took the 50 US grand and the title of 2016 Kuwait 9-ball open champion. 2 filipinos reached the quarters: Roland Garcia and Warren Kiamco Many filipinos joined this tourney even through the qualifying stages but one by one they fall including the surprise early exit of Dennis Orcollo who didn't even make it to the knockout stages. next big tourney is the very intense Mosconi Cup. well as they said, better luck next year for the filipino cue artists and hopefully the rebirth of the world 8 ball championship will push through wherein 3 filipinos were already former champions of this event Efren Reyes, Ronnie Alcano and Dennis Orcollo. deathscythe0402
it was all chinese taipei (taiwan) in the 2016 All Japan Championship Ko Pin Yi won his 3rd championship of this event. He defeated Jeffrey "The Bull" de Luna in the finals 11:3 the final score. Many filipinos joined this tourney and majority qualified for the knockout stages but one by one they fell along the way. FleurDeLune
http://www.thehypertexts.com/images/Anastasia_Luppova.jpg(Anastasia Luppova's cue) Now let's try to indulge ourselves in imagining to play err..I mean playing billiards. I think this is kind of addictive activity and pretty awesome to burn your fats as well. Ok, let me start a few-sentence story... Played billiard last night with some family members after a dinner in Cabalen. This was in Mall of Asia where it gave us a not-so-reasonable outlay, P300.00/hour. Or is this reasonable? Or are there any other places where our players could indulge more in terms of accessibility or even rate? (I mean much cheaper rate) Thanks for the reco. Quote Link to comment
chezp
Acuestick along Chino Roces Ave near Kamagong (Makati) is much cheaper, but I recommend RackEmUp at Finlandia corner Batangas near Cash & Carry (also in Makati). 1 Quote Link to comment
