Been enjoying playing poker.........

 

Played last Saturday, Sunday and yesterday.......

How was it jimmy? you win big? is it an advantage or disadvantage to have many or few players in a poker game does it matter?

 

I'm only playing on the 25/50 table were the bets are relatively smaller. So, the winnings cannot really big relatively. Thus far, I think I have been breaking even in poker or if I'm ahead, maybe just a little bit. Last Saturday, I won about Php 20T but on Sunday I lost about Php 10T. On Monday, I won about Php 3T. Last night, I lost Php 7T.

 

In the long run, I believe that if I dedicate myself to improving my poker play, there will be more winnings than losses.

 

As in the other casino games, the challenge is to know when to stop and bring home your winnings and not slowly lose them away. Last Monday I already had about Php 20T winnings but because of the urge to win some more, I gradually lost away those winnings. In poker, I realize you cannot just continually play long hours in one sitting. After a few hours, you would not be able to think and make decisions as well as in the first few hours of the game.

 

The more players there are, the bigger the pot will be and the bigger your potential winning will be. Of course, the more players there are, the complicated will it be, because there are more players that you will have to be watching and observing. When the table is full --- 9 players, it is more fun and exciting.

In the big money table the other night where the blinds are 100/200(There is 500/100 as well), there was one play where the pot reached 1.5M when several players bet "All-In".

 

Thus far, in the 25/50 tables I've played, the biggest pot I've seen was around Php 25T.

hi Jimmy, the 25/50 or 100/200 refers to the minimum amount of the allowed bet? I think 25K is okay but 1.5M is for those high limit rollers na hehe. Stick with 25/50 then to have min earnings and a lot of playing time.

 

Yup. I'll stick to the 25/50 table. Kagabi nga kasi there were no empty seats sa 25/50, one of the Solaire ladies was trying to convince me to play in the 50/100 table. Sabi ko, huwag. I'll wait and stay with the 25/50 table.

 

Yes, the blinds are the minimum bets. But, there is no limit as to what you can bet. The limit is on the amount of chips that you can bring to the table. For the 25/50 tables, the minimum buy-in is Php 1,000 and the maximum is Php 8,000. For the 100/20 tables, I think the minimum buy-in is Php 30T at walang maximum.

game of luck pure luck. Sa meron at asul wala kaibahan sa sabong me liamado banker dehado player. Nakaka adik dami na nasira dyan even me lost maybe all in all 1 million span of 8 years. Poor me

Kaya tingin ko mas maganda ang poker dahil hindi purely game of chance. Medyo may control ka sa table dahil kailangang magdesisyon ka. At puwede ka pa umatras pagkabukas ng baraha mo. Pag-magaling ka dumiskarte maski pangit ang baraha mo, mananalo ka pa rin.

It is a game of chance and luck. Just know your limits I think that is the biggest tip.

 

I see sometimes kasi some people try to read patterns. Keeping track of who was winning.

May shopping mall with cinema pa sila on the way. Hindi ko alam kung iisang building iyan. Ambisyoso masyado ang resort na iyan. Pati iyong basement parking nila, nakakalula sa laki. Hindi ko mahanap kung saan ako nagiwan.

Had the same experience with their basement parking. Mawawala ka talaga sa dami ng pasikot saka detour. Buti na lang may mga guard na naka post everywhere.
