jacuzzi
Time to upgrade to Win 8 once they eliminate the physical keyboard and mouse then supply us with cheap and lightweight 24 inch touch screens with wireless Bluetooth or Wi-Fi cloud computing. They already have tech for Internet TV where your hdd can be connected via USB to a Wi-Fi ready PC server that can supply pre-recorded movie programs on hdd or U tube internet streams. Problem is Android systems are cheaper and can potentially do the tricks that Win 8 offer. Many of the smart OS phone software today can complete at the same level of Win 8 when hardware becomes widely available. Quote Link to comment

I also have an iPhone, and an Android phone. They all do the job especially when surfing. As to speed, well that depends on your internet connection I suppose. What I like about the Lumia is it's larger than an iPhone which makes surfing easier. But I'm seriously thinking of gettin a larger phone...the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. As far as I'm concerned, the size of the screen is more important than the phone's OS. Quote Link to comment

I suggest try mo yung "shell classic" makikita mo ito sa Cnet.com. pag nadownload mo ito it will appear sa laptop mo parang win 7 lang. its added to your toolbar. para madaling maghanap ng files. good luck. enjoy the windows 8. lil_cig
I installed Windows 8 recently since I upgraded my PC. Ibang iba talaga siya kasa sa Windows 7! Even basic stuff like the Control Panel, ang hirap hanapin. Kailangan pa i-search bago ko mahanap. It'll take some getting used to but I like some of it's features. My monitor ain't touch screen yet, I should probably get one just to maximize it's usage =/ Quote Link to comment
johnlove
For the first time, upgrading an os would require upgrading the monitor in order for the upgrade to become meaningful. Quote Link to comment

khantan
It takes some getting used to. I think Windows 8 was designed with touch screens in mind.Win 8 is already installed on some demo laptops at the malls.I tried using both touchscreen and non-touchscreen versions.Boy . . . the touchscreen model is smoother and it's an entirely different experience.I don't feel comfortable using win 8 on a non-touchscreen monitor. The bottom line: Better stick to win 7 if you are not using a touchscreen monitor. I have both Windows 8 on a touch screen laptop and one on the new desktop I bought. Definitely easier to use Windows 8 on the laptop. I should have gotten Window 7 for my new desktop.
