martbogard
Free will or predestination? Either way, life feels like choosing your own adventure… in a book someone else wrote. Quote Link to comment
stayawayhelp123
Mostly we have no free will. Our predispositions towards choices are genetic and based on environment/trauma. Personality is fairly static across a lifetime though one can change that through intensive self work. It is just that absent any factor that forces that introspection most don't participate. Sonicblue11
Free will exists in real time and comes with the nature of humanity. Pre-destination, on the other hand I believe, would be a product of human logic, philosophy, and part of human’s free will. But yet again, we will never know whether every story is already written. It’s your “free will” whether to believe. Quote Link to comment

marvz40663 Posted yesterday at 07:39 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:39 PM It's, strictly, free will. The trouble with most people is that they do think and act so predictably and most us operate on instincts and age-old patterns, we become self-fulfilling prophecies. Quote Link to comment
