Edmund Dantes
Kisapmata the classic Mike De Leon movie This is the best made Filipino horror movie. It is also one of the best pieces of Philippine cinema. I loved everything about this movie. From the excellent performances, to the cinematography, and the story most of all. It is technically a drama, but there is just so much suspense and tension building up to the entire plot you'd soon be watching a horror movie. No there aren't any supernatural elements in the plot. No creatures, or no deranged serial killers in hockey masks. Every character here is real! All the motivations are real! Vic Silayan gives his finest performance as the Jealously obsessed father who will stop at nothing to cling on to her daughter. See each time I revisit this masterpiece there is always something new to look at and reinterpret. And yes it still gives me chills Quote Link to comment
