Mango Man
i think it is quite difficult, if not impossible, to say definitely who is the best player of all time, as they played in different eras; and we have to go beyond individual stats and consider how many championships they won, etc. etc. so maybe its best to think of it in terms of position, i.e. best center, best point guard, etc. of all time. In the modern era, i'd say: Best center - ShaqBest power forward - Karl MaloneBest small forward - Larry BirdBest shooting guard - MJBest point guard - Magic (he redefined the position). If you want a "pure" point guard, John Stockton. Pls. note i didn't include active players like Lebron, Kobe, etc. since their careers aren't over yet. Quote Link to comment

dfgvan
siguro po kasi, success is measured by achievement...what i mean is the ultimate goal to get a ring, take for example karl malone and tim duncan, most basketball experts consider duncan as the best pf that played the gamethe difference between the two? rings.why is alcindor and russell ranked higher than wilt? rings.note: in one of wilt's interviews he tells that alcindor was the first player he asked his team that they help him defend. as for mikhan's case, it was more of a spectacle seeing someone that huge(6'10") and playing the game at that time... *kalel*
hmm maybe.. pero comparing THE MAILMAN to MR. Fundamental, parang mas magaling namn tlga c Timmy e, what do u think>?naalala ko tuloy yung hall of fame enshrinement ni robinson.... In his speech, he called tim the answer to his prayers and the best pf ..... Nung time ni stockton naman mag speech, he quoted robinson and said, i beg to disagree.... 1 Quote Link to comment
Jasonkidd
Stockton will surely disagree.. pero Mr. fundamental is all u wanted in a player, mas lalo na PF position nya, scoring, rebounding, assist, jumpshot, utak ng isang guard. leadership.. lahat na ata nasa kanya.. kaya nga MR> FUNDAMENTAL e Quote Link to comment
