this is from my epidemiological research conducted in luzon and visayas islands. most of the time, medicine doesn't work. once it becomes of noticeable size. the medicine and diet. won't be able to shrink it. it can only prevent it from growing further. it seems Filipino goiter is resistant to iodine supplementation one can notice that it is usually seen in seaside and mountain dwelling individuals. probably this is from intake of cassava, cabbage, turnips which may contain goitrogens. despite iodine supplementation by the government, it still occurs at 8-9% so it must be from another cause. the only recourse would be to have it removed by a surgeon,  ENT. specialist or if you like a dental oral maxillofacial specialist.

Not a cure but part of the diet of a relative who had a goiter.

Seafoods esp. seaweeds and fish, (Lalo na Yung balat)

Mejo moderate lang sa isdang dagat Kasi alam naman natin na madumi na Ang mga karagatan natin. I forgot the name of the pinay celebrity na nagstrict seafood diet sya and was hospitalized. As far as I remember, Mataas ang metal content sa dugo Niya as a result of that diet. And that kind of situation is normal for those na nagtatrabaho sa industrial plants tulad ng pagawaan ng baterya.

Yung lng
