Your father may have been wrong---the Filipino is worth dying for? After democracy was restored, Filipinos no longer want to vote based on qualifications. Mas bobo, mas ok basta magaling magbudots at mamigay ng ayuda.

Your mother was an icon for democracy.  But her biggest failure was to leave it to Congress to pass an Anti-Dynasty Bill. Tutal, revolutionary government naman, dapat binawal na lang outright sa constitution. Now, dynasties are the biggest reason bakit di mawala ang corruption at hirap umasenso. 

You, yourself tried to govern honestly. But corruption is so well-entrenched it has a life of its own. And then, your successor created a cult that demonized you and everything you did. Which paved the way for fake news and the Marcoses being back.

Salamat. Pero this country didn't deserve you, your mother, or your Dad.

Kulang pa pala yung 20+ years of dictatorship, cronyism, baun sa utang, sadsad na ekonomiya na ultimo bulok na bigas kailangan pa pumila para makabili at pag nakursunadahan ka ng pulis o militar, sasabihin lang nila na komunista ka, pwede ka na patayin. Golden years ang tawag nila dun ngayon. 

Kulang pa yung 20+ years na walang demokrasya para madala ang mga Pilipino at matutong gamitin ang utak sa pagpili ng mga tamang mga lider. Baka dapat nalugmok pa tayo ng mas matagal at mas matindi to the point na kahit Timor Liste, mauungusan tayo. Para talagang madala at matuto ang mga Pilipino.

What we have now is democracy wasted on the stupid.
