I just spoke with a Thai guest. He suddenly asked me about the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, he said he thought Manny won, and that 70% of Thai thought he won... the rest thought it was a Draw.

We gotta give it up, and admit that the hearts of many fans went with Pacquiao. Oh don't get me wrong, I still do believe that he fairly list that fight. That sour graping and making excuses isn't the way to go. That many Pinoy fans are acting like bitter losers. But I have to agree that in general, Floyd won the fight, but he could never beat Manny when it comes to winning the hearts of the audience. Maybe its because from the onset people were already seeing Manny as the hero. Maybe some people didn't like the way Floyd fought. Whatever and however, win or lose its always the hero who wins the cheers.

 

You know those sports movies from the 90s? Kung san talo naman yung bida pero sa kanila pumapalakpak yung mga tao? Tapos yung kontrabida na nanalo kinainisan lang lalo? Ganun siguro ang drama ng contest na ito. Yung isa nga daw na basketball game na pinuntahan ni Floyd, na-boo sya ng mga tao.

 

Pero sana, dito na magtapos ito. Magandang ending na din ito. Wala ng rematch sana. Kung baga ride off the sunset na si Manny. Hayaan na ibang boxingero naman sumikat.

 

Ganun din sana si Floyd. Sana yung susunod na kontrabida sa boxing eh parang George Foreman o Mike Tyson. Di lang basta mabunganga, kundi dapat kinakatakutan din

Tapos na ang Pacman era, IMO. I do not like Manny as a politician. But I am nonetheless thankful that I am part of a generation that got to enjoy his awesome fights. 

Masarap talaga balikan yun mga laban ni Pacquiao. Lalo from 2008-09. Ito yun prime years ni Pacquiao talaga. Ito yun Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto. Top 3 favorites ng madami

Also binabalikan ko din laban nya kay Margarito. Hanep David and Goliath yun laban. Ni hindi umabot sa tamang timbang si Pacquiao. Pero bugbug sarado si Margarito. Buti na lang naawa si Manny

One of the worst matches I've ever seen. Mayweather just kept baiting Pac into being aggressive, and he kept getting punished for it.
