shadow555
I can almost hear the advice from Manny's friends. I guess with his shoulder Injury, maybe retire or maybe last fight, last pay day and then move on to other things. Or baka namumuhunan na siya for his Presidential bid?

Singing, Acting, Basketball, Politics, Preaching etc. I mean I am sorry to say this, but boxing lang naman talaga is the only thing he is good at. But unfortunately, he does not really have any real critics dito satin. In fact if you criticize Pacquiaos basketball talents, you commit heresy at deport ka sa bansa nyo. lol. Kinumpara pa kay Martin Luther King. Tama walang masama na me iba kang pagkaabalahan. Ito dapat full time job.

rgboy
There should never be a rematch. The result will be the same. Pacquiao should instead retire. Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes
Sorry ha, ala kasi ibang boxing thread! Pero astig si Golovkin! This guy needs to be tested with bigger-named opponents like Miguel Cotto or Canelo. I think the middleweight is the next talent-rich division after welterweight Quote Link to comment
shadow555
I'm not complaining about the mixed topic about boxing here. But you guys sure that higher ranking members cannot post new topics in the sports section anymore? Why kaya? Too much space being used up? Quote Link to comment

But you guys sure that higher ranking members cannot post new topics in the sports section anymore? Why kaya? Too much space being used up? Hmmmm Ive been around this forum ng matagal na and as time goes by parang hindi na nagiging maganda yung pagmoderate dito. GGG is one bad motherf#&ker. He can be the next favorite boxing hero after Pacquiao. KO artist, boxing/slugger, good looking, and has a very good demeanor in and out of the ring. If HBO will only pay more attention to this guy, I bet he will quickly rise to become the new face of boxing. I remember he has been selling out venues in LA. Though mexican yung kalaban nya, sa kanya nagche-cheer yung crowd. Enough Mayweather Pacquiao I wanna see Golovkin Vs Canelo or Golovkin Vs Cotto. Golovkin VS Floyd? hmmmmm naaaah.

Edmund Dantes
^^ Well that was nice of Manny of course. Nga lang, he is facing law suits from angry fans who want their money back Quote Link to comment
shadow555
I just spoke with a Thai guest. He suddenly asked me about the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, he said he thought Manny won, and that 70% of Thai thought he won... the rest thought it was a Draw. Just sharing! Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes
^^^ Eto insight ko dyan. We gotta give it up, and admit that the hearts of many fans went with Pacquiao. Oh don't get me wrong, I still do believe that he fairly list that fight. That sour graping and making excuses isn't the way to go. That many Pinoy fans are acting like bitter losers. But I have to agree that in general, Floyd won the fight, but he could never beat Manny when it comes to winning the hearts of the audience. Maybe its because from the onset people were already seeing Manny as the hero. Maybe some people didn't like the way Floyd fought. Whatever and however, win or lose its always the hero who wins the cheers. You know those sports movies from the 90s?

I do not like Manny as a politician. But I am nonetheless thankful that I am part of a generation that got to enjoy his awesome fights. Lalo from 2008-09. Hanep David and Goliath yun laban.
