GoyongDP
What's there to be proud about being filipino or any other nationality? You acquire it by chance. I don't hate being a filipino but I hate the way filipinos are being proud about being pinoy and all that. Instead of being proud about your nationality why not make your country proud by excelling in your field. 1 Quote Link to comment
Miss Zelda
Proud to be Filipino. The Americans always try to figure me out why I speak english well, sagot ko ay ' ooh, we have two subjects for english - reading and language since kindergarten'. Never cease to amaze them. Quote Link to comment

LOTTE
If you are proud to be filipino, why need subtitles like i'm half filipino and half chinese or spanish when you don't have the attributes of being half of each? Quote Link to comment
BennyChang
Proud to be Tsinoy!! Pinoy na pinoy pa din..Nice. Me as well. Tsinoy here. Chinese Ilocano. Mabuhay Pilipinas! Quote Link to comment
Misteryotao
A long time ago, i was naive and innocent. I was proud to be a Filipino. Sadly in the recent years, i change my opinion about it. Especially when i started to travel. Meeting the locals, talking about their culture and people in general. Quote Link to comment

Quote Link to comment

Barenaked-NoMre
Of the CULTURE, VALUES, CUISINE, CREATIVITY, INVENTIONS, Pinoy hospitality & EXPERTISE of MOST people in their chosen fields/careers. NOT of the GOV'T ... the politicians or some police or those in so-called AUTHORITY. Quote Link to comment
bonanas
I've come into realization, that this nationality thing is just artificial and man made. Boundaries are just an illusion. In essence we're all earthlings, we should have been free to roam the world. We are all citizens of earth. Nations, religion, race, beliefs, groups resulted to division amongst us. Senseless suffering and death caused by reverence to a "flag". Quote Link to comment
