What's there to be proud about being filipino or any other nationality? You acquire it by chance. I don't hate being a filipino but I hate the way filipinos are being proud about being pinoy and all that. Instead of being proud about your nationality why not make your country proud by excelling in your field.

If you are proud to be filipino, why need subtitles like i'm half filipino and half chinese or spanish when you don't have the attributes of being half of each?

 

Pango pa rin naman ang mga ilong natin, yung height natin average lang. Pilipino tayo, yung heritage kuno ay pagyayabang lang yan, e sa Amerika ay walang kwenta naman yang mga bagay na yan.

 

Kung sa kanila, melting pot ng mga iba't ibang lahi, bakit di na lang natin tanggapin na may mga ninuno tayong purong pinoy na nagsumikap para umahon na katulad mo din. Ang importante ang NGAYON, di yung lahi ka ni ganito at ni ganyan.

A long time ago, i was naive and innocent. I was proud to be a Filipino. Sadly in the recent years, i change my opinion about it. Especially when i started to travel. Meeting the locals, talking about their culture and people in general.

Yes, I am proud to be a Filipino. Yung masaya ka kapag may magandang nagawa ang ibabg Pinoy. Yung gusto mo laging nababanggit sa international news agencies ang Philippines. Yung kahit anong kalokohan na ang ginagawa ng mga pulitiko natin, proud ka pa rin na Pinoy ka.
