3 things gilas (and the fans) did that was unacceptable (pinoy ka man o australian)

 

1. Coach Jong throwing chairs (2x) and punching an already down goulding (the only official na nakisali sa rambol)

2. Jio Jalalon and Allein Maliksi entering and participating in the brawl when they are not even part of the rosters that night (in short, spectator lang sila)

3. The crowd joining the brawl - especially Japhets dad throwing a chair (peter aguilar)

 

yung mga players na nasa loob, maiintindihan ko un kasi on hand yun at sa harap nila nangyari, pero yung 3 binanggit ko, mali na talaga kahit saang anggulo mo tignan.

 

thats why lalo tumaas tingin ko ke Abai. You can see him in any replay, ni hindi tumakbo (o umawat) at nakisali. Chill lang talaga sya.. hehe (baka natakot? hehe)

 

At itong si Chup Reyes sa halip na mag paka professional and umako sa responsibilidad, parang batang nagtuturo at nagsusumbong pa sa mga paliwanag sa media. Really lacks class and professionalism compared to CTC and Norman Black or even Coach Leo Austria. Ugaling Chot talaga - iyakin.

 

For sure madaming ma sususpend na players, im looking at a possible ban to coach jong to any FIBA tournaments. Pag na suspend yung 9 players na na eject sa next window - puro bata na halos ang papalit dahil sa 24 man pool na binigay ni chup reyes karamihan puro cadets. Buti na lang may Norwood at Fajardo pa sa lineup na yun.

Three players are sure to escape penalties as June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, and Baser Amer stayed out of the brawl.

Chot Reyes still has players from his original 24-man pool which was released back in July last year. They can be called up anytime, just like how the team did with Amer before the Australia match.

Players from that list include Raymond Almazan, who has not appeared for national team practices since the first window back in November, as well as Christian Standhardinger, Mac Belo, Kevin Ferrer, Mike Tolomia and Norbert Torres.

kahit naman di nangyari yung "rumble in bocaue", chot does not really deserve to coach the national team. di ko talaga malaman kung paano at bakit napadpad yang coach na yan sa gilas. kung natuloy sana yung blueprint ni coach tab baldwin, maayos sana ang takbo ng gilas. i'll say it again, coach tab is worthy of being named coach of the national team.

If Chot does not resign after this fiasco, then I would consider him “ kapit tuko”. I am befuddled as to how this “has been” of a coach is still calling the shots for Gilas.

I think there is a bigger hidden agenda from the MVP group with the inclusion of a Calvin Abueva to the Smart Gilas lineup you got what I mean

Chot Reyes parang awa mo na, huwag ka na mag-coach. Wala kang gawang maganda. Kulang na kulang ang team gilas coached by you sa preparasyon sa kalaban na mabigat. Tapos eto pa, hinde mo kayang kontrolin mga players mo at staff mo. Please lang stop coaching, siguro naman may trabahong iba na maibigay sa yo si manny pangilinan malakas ka naman sa kanya e.

We can only hope that FIBA will not banned our gilas players or worse the team from competing internationally. Damage has been done. Lesson learned. I hope that our gilas team will move on from this fiasco and maybe who knows they will perform better against elite teams.

If indeed the 9 players that are thrown out from our last game will be suspended maybe its time to utilize other players such as Raymond Almazan, Vic Manuel and others we'll never know maybe we may dig some diamonds in the rough

yan din ang iniisip ko but will fiba rules allow us to get players not in the list given by gilas? maybe someone here can clarify. as far as i know, 20 names were in the list given by chot to fiba. so dun lang ba sa list pwede kumuha ng kapalit? if fiba will allow us to pick players outside of the list, then maganda sa atin. marami naman pwedeng pagpilian like paul lee, almazan, manuel, lassiter, tenorio, slaughter then austin or standhardinger for the import. junemar and gabe are still available. si sen. pacquiao pwede din just in case magkarambulan ulit hehehe
