We should be able to win against IRAN...considering we beat russia(a bigger more rugged faster with shooting version of iran).... junix Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 In my opinion, we can beat Iran without Blatche as long as Gregzilla and the Kraken are there, together with Jordan Clarkson. i believe so, too...2 big guys who can body and match-up against haddadi. contain haddadi we beat iran. just imagine a triumvirate of greg, junemar and tautua at the frontline and clarkson and romeo or norwood at the backcourt. there is your all pinoy first five. we can have japeth, abueva, troy, castro, ganuelas-rosser coming off the bench. honestly, malakas ang pilipinas kung lahat magkakaisa. Syet, this is true. I hope those who will be tapped to play against Iran later can at least contain Haddadi. We also need to defend the three-point line well because Iran has very good shooters out there. Best of luck to our boys. Makakalaro pa kaya si clarkson sa jones cup? In the latest news, the Lakers organization allowed Clarkson to play in the FIBA-Asia. However, he should be reporting to his mother NBA team by Sep. 29. Thus, effectively he can only play 3 games where the FIBA-Asia starts at Sep. 23. Fair enough...nagkasabay lang talaga sked. The downside would be the Gilas system of plays would have Clarkson in the mix, and he wouldn't be around come the quarters/semis. Medyo it will stir the preparation and cohesion (somehow).
