He specifically mentioned alaska....getting the ticket for FIBA spain...will benefit the PBA...im sure after gilas superb performance the PBA will have record attendance this coming governors cup...starting tom

I believe denzel is a good choice. if i had my way i will also get a personal coach to teach denzel big man's move and to improve his shooting touch beyond the perimeter.

Well, Bowles has the height but he's a bit skinny and has no 3. pt range whatsoever.

Bowles is fine. inside lang + he has decent free throw shooting which is very important

here's my thoughts:

 

must retain:

 

l.a. tenorio - very heady point guard

jimmy alapag - i think he still has it despite his age

r deocampo - has power and can shoot 3

mark pingris - we need an enforcer with a decent touch. and he has the heart

japeth aguilar - very athletic for his height. must practice his perimeter shooting though

junmar fajardo - we need his height and heft. must improve his perimeter also

jeff chan - our most consistent shooter

gebe norwood - for his height he can play any position

 

questionable

 

gary david - very inconsistent. in short tournaments consistency is key

larry fonacier - a good shooter but lacking in defense. and he cant find his own shot. we have other shooters

jason castro - only because of his height. we're forced to play him as a point guard which he is not. his penetrations wont work against taller opponents in the world

marcus douthit - only because we need a taller and heftier naturalized and we're only allowed one.
