rafael77
so agree. lets go beyond the politics and elitism of sports. forget about the ateneo-la salle and fil-am mentality when think about forming our national team. go to cebu and mindanao for god's sake. the strong and good and strong players are there. young kumakain ng mais at nagpapanday ng bukid. the fil-ams are plain and simple glamor. nothing more! whoever they add to the lineup wont do anything good for gilas dahil back to square one ulit tau. at hindi pa din natututo ang sports officials natin. tutal 2013 pa daw ang next fiba qualifying bakit nga naman magprepare. akala siguro nila porket may naturalized player ang pinas eh makakarating ulit tau sa final 4.. wake up.. rafael77
and forget about toroman. he's a bad coach for gods sake! he just had the priveledge of being a FOEIGN coach and getting his whims. you think a leo austria or a boyet fernandez will get the same priviledge. c'mpn guys. magbago muna tayo baka eventually magbago ang bansa. and eventually our NATIONAL team! tangana naman kasi our national team's interest was given on a silver platter to a very very shrewd businessman in the name of manny pangilinan. pera pera lang yan e. CharlesOngSy
No money? We would always end up as losers in the international competition. so we should thank MVP for shelling out millions to maintain this team. Quote Link to comment

CharlesOngSy
MVP is always loyal to some Ateneo-related people. So That's it. Quote Link to comment
launchpad
problem with chot really, he should get his head into the game and dont get emotional. retard! palibhasa kse nasanay sa kakanood ng telenovela pati sa court gusto nya ng drama. Quote Link to comment
launchpad
regarding toroman, i dont think his a bad coach im thinking he just doesnt have the talent around him to make a team go up to another level. look at the last fiba asian, firts of all it was all douthit, second if not for the fil ams. i cant imagine how would the pure pinoys do it themselves. im not taking away anything from them all but talent is an issue, aside from height of course. even if you go to grass roots basketball and develop still . . . . we dont have the samboy lim anymore or those die hards basketball who just like basketball and win. crispa18
From the previous RP Teams that we saw mukhang di Coach ang problems... most of the times its the players.... talent wise we can compete with the best in Asia the problem is that the players don't give there heart out on playing for the country!
