niceNslow.2
need pa i-develop ni parksand kobe, masyado pang bata if hindi kaya magbigay nang personnel and resources ang mga pba teams para sa bansa then alam na natin kung ano prioroties nila.Sayang dapat kasi si Bobby Ray Parks nasa lineup. Drive and dish ang specialty nya which the team didn't have any. And why no Kobe Paras. The guy is good enough to be recruited by UCLA and Creighton, 2 top programs. Sanay sya sa mabibilis na Onaks at matangkad sya. He'll definitely be a good small forward sa lineup which also was sorely missing. Quote Link to comment
Gringo*
Bakit? ANO? SINO? KAILAN? AT BAKA IKAW ANG DAHILAN SANA DI NA MATAGAL... 1 Quote Link to comment

daphne loves derby
This article captured it all You're not to blame, Yenghttps://www.spin.ph/basketball/fiba/there-are-people-to-blame-for-failure-to-win-asiad-medal-but-it-sure-ain-t-guiao-a2380-20180828 A coach taking the blame for a loss is nothing new. That’s in the old sports dictum that, in defeat, a coach takes the blame and, in victory, gives the players all the credit. That’s a dictum that wins respect from players. But in this case, Guiao doesn’t have to. He is not to blame for the loss. Neither are his players. Nor, more so, him and his players. The team played a hell of a game. The coaching staff he led gave its best. One player actually chipped two teeth diving for the ball, and if that isn’t proof these players put team goals above personal safety — what is? But if Guiao is looking at where blame really falls, he can focus on the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), whose indecisiveness created the atmosphere of confusion in the country’s Asian Games basketball campaign. There it is. The SBP is so obsessed with FIBA that it nearly ignored the Asian Games which, it is now only discovering, is also important to Filipinos. In fact, the country may have had a better chance at bringing in an Asian Games gold than it has at bagging a slot in the FIBA World Cup. All it took was for the SBP to plan ahead and form a more competitive team. In other words, for the SBP to do its job. Edited August 28, 2018 by daphne loves derby 2 Quote Link to comment

ray004
For healthy discussion. For the Fiba qualifiers, if you are to choose between Standhardinger and Pringle, who would it be? Quote Link to comment
will robie
Anyway, I didn't expect us to win anything in the Asian Games but the boys gave a good account of themselves. Salute! Now, on to the FIBA qualifiers. Beat Iran! Beat, beat Iran! (to the tune of Go La Salle. Go, go La Salle! ) Only the top three qualifiers from each group will qualify for the Worlds. We have to beat Iran. I don't know how they're gonna include Slaughter but they must f#&king include Slaughter. Edited August 28, 2018 by will robie 1 Quote Link to comment

junix
For healthy discussion. For the Fiba qualifiers, if you are to choose between Standhardinger and Pringle, who would it be?nothing against stanley. he's really a good player. slasher...shooter. he showed us what he can do. but we need size specially against iran. Anyway, I didn't expect us to win anything in the Asian Games but the boys gave a good account of themselves. Salute! Now, on to the FIBA qualifiers. Beat Iran! Beat, beat Iran! I don't know how they're gonna include Slaughter but they must f#&king include Slaughter. it's imperative chief that coach yeng includes greg in the lineup specially now that junemar is injured (again). we need somebody who can make life difficult for haddadi. anyway, coach yeng has already given the pba his wishlist. greg, lassiter, cabagnot and sanggalang. pwede kaya si scottie? 1 Quote Link to comment
daphne loves derby
we won against a depleted Japan side yesterday, and James Yap not playing due to ankle injury. Next game will be against Syria or Indonesia, pag nanalo sure ball 5th place. Papano pala na injured si Kraken? Sa practice ba? Sure ball na daw kasi na hindi makakalaro sa next window, so Greg is a must already Quote Link to comment
MustangEco
if only we maintained our lead against korea baka battling for gold na tayo...or should i say if ako lang coach ay baka for championship na tayo......magagaling man talaga ang players unfortunately, mali lang kasi shuffling ng players. AndrewJamesPogiii
Madali lang sana bumuo ng maganda at malakas na lineup for Gilas kung hindi sana nagdadamot ang SMC sa pagpapahiram ng players. Take for example ngayong ASEAN games. Kung may JMF sa ilalim baka nanalo pa tayo against China and Korea. Quote Link to comment

FYI For this ASIAN GAMES lineup, SMC loaned Stanhardinger and Paul Lee and they are the main financial backer together with ROS and BW management. If not for SMC's contribution with other agencies and govt officials, walang mapapadalang token team. Ni wala kang makikitang logo ng sponsor sa uniform. For the FIBA qualifier, lets wait and see kung anong mangyayari. Edited August 29, 2018 by daphne loves derby Quote Link to comment
