Aaron, Rick and I along with many of our allies have decided based on the information we have seen to choose the OLD GUARD to side with once the expansion is released. Several of our allies and us have been talking about it for days now and all feel that it is in our best interest as a family. We have some very strong allies and believe that the most important ones that we have talked to are siding with the Old Guard also, this will allow us to still be allies and force us to fight against each other.

 

Once the Russian mafia is ready to play you will be asked to pick a side. I am asking all the groups in NATO to pick the Old Guard. The choice is up to you but we would end up fighting against members of our own group if we aren't all on the same side, and possibly even have to remove the ones that don't side with the Alliance as a whole. Be very cautious when picking your side and make sure you are hitting the right button when asked, for there will be no going back if the wrong one is picked."

The following is a message from our Godmother:

 

"And finally what everyone has been waiting for... We have gathered up this info.....

 

Well, it looks like Moscow is going be released on October 3rd. This is the latest info we got.

 

There are Major changes to the game that have lasting consequences and we have new information that will shed some light on what will happen.

 

**We still ask you to let us check it out first and i will explain why. Apparently you get locked out of New York and Cuba after you start Moscow it is a New Beginning.

 

The new expansion will Consist of 11 countries in total and your Russian choice will influence them all.

All 11 are to be active by jan 2010 if on schedule

 

Robbing will be removed for upgrades, beginning on Thursday, September 24.

MORE PLAYER ACCT CHANGES: These are not 100% Confirmed

 

Changes:

 

Fight Screen:

There are no longer links to people you fight. You can no longer visit their profile or copy the link. They obviously have given into people who are "bullied" and changed it so you can no longer save links

 

Skill Points:

There is a new skill called "Influence" that regenerates once per hour. This is used for gaining money through the new rackets system, you may no longer buy properties.

 

You get 6 skill points per level now.

 

Rackets:

You use influence to shake down the owner and gain money, to gain it you have to be back on the dot to collect the money.

 

Top Mafia:

Top Mafia is no longer on your home screen.

 

Stamina:

It costs 1 skill point per stamina now.

 

Hitlist:

It's still there, and it does link to profiles. Just no profiles are listed when you are attacked or on the fight screen.

 

Jobs:

Now give a set amount of money, nearly 1/10th of what they were before.

If you pick the Vory:

It will force a new non-changable name on you, loosing the tags and the ability to join one later.

 

This group was created for the individual untagged players that complain about Clan bully's they will also get more loot drops.

 

Group Definition:

 

Vory - The thieves... Vory v zakone or "thieves in law". This class of criminal had to abide by certain rules in the prison system. One such rule was that cooperation with the authorities of any kind was forbidden. During World War II some prisoners made a deal with the government to enlist in the armed forces in return for a reduced sentence, but upon their return to prison they were attacked and killed by inmates who remained loyal to the rules of the thieves.

If you pick the Mafiya:

You will be able to change your name and Stay tagged to your favorite group or change groups. You will have less loot drops but will have more freedom in the game.

 

Group Definition:

 

Russian Mafiya - Widespread corruption, poverty and distrust of authorities only contributed to the rise of organized crime. Contract killings reached an all-time high with many gangland murders taking place, a substantial number remaining unsolved. The new criminal class of Russia took on a more Westernized and businesslike approach to organized crime as the more code-of-honor based Vory faded into extinction.

The aim for this new format is to level the playing field between strong clans and weak individual players

These choices will end up pitting tagged against untagged players:

 

The untagged players will have an advantage with more loot drops.

 

The tagged will have there unity and freedom to play as they wish.

 

Now if the info that there are no longer going to be links to people you fight. You can no longer visit their profile or copy the link. It will greatly limit game play but again that is why we want to check it out before you go to Moscow.

 

****i do not believe this is all bad news on the contrary i think it will make things more Exciting and will keep things interesting. The good news is there is an option for clans to band together and play under their own tags but how limited the game play will be is still up in the air and we need to send in drones to check it out. If you do not heed our warnings we cannot help you if you get stuck.

 

***To Sum up Basically we dont know 100% what happening! So once you get the chance to go to moscow...DON'T JUMP IN.
