Further, gas-fed vehicles (with all things equal like usage, user, weather, etc.) have longer operating life. But diesel was invented to be an alternative to gas' prohibitive cost. If only the other factors (power, maintenance, etc.) can the diesel's advantage with gas be widened, will the diesel be it... Quote Link to comment

My cousin's BMW is a diesel but it is as powerful if not more powerful as my 3.5 litre, V6 270 hp Toyota Camry. It has topped 220 kph. Imagine a diesel car doing over 220 kph!! Quote Link to comment
