If you were a farmer trying to get a wolf, a goat and a basket of cabbage across the river via a banca, how would you go about it? Remember that you can't leave the wolf and the goat alone because the wolf will eat the goat and you can't leave the basket of cabbage and goat alone because the goat will eat the basket of cabbage.

2nd: fetch the basket of cabbage with me & the wolf;

My bad. I forgot to include that only two things can be loaded on the banca at any one time.

 

 

well, in that case

 

1st trip: me + goat, leave the goat sa far end;

 

2nd: me + wolf, tie the wolf and get load again the goat;

 

3rd: leave the goat sa pinanggalingan and take the basket;

 

4th: leave the basket with the wolf then fetch again the goat.
