Good Games by La... regarding kay Gary D, I think hindi fit sa System ng Ginebra sa Gary D dahil

1. Mabilis ang ikot ng bola ngayon sa team, and Gary David is a volume shooter kailangan laging nasa kamay niya ang bola.

2. Matanda na siya at liability siya sa depensa at

3. Malaki ang kanyang sahod which is rumored to 420,000 a month lalagpas sa salary cap ang Ginebra (of course kayang i negotiate ng SMC yan)

Medyo nalito ako kanina hehehehe.... hindi pa rin ako sure bakit na trade si intal noon....

 

sayang itong mga players na ito, kung bakit na trade, i would choose brondial over Marcelo, si Eman at Josh ang laki ng pakinabang sa kanila ng Phoenix.

 

nice ugly win, particularly very flat yung 1st half nila, its good thing na bumawi sa 2nd half, nagkakalat na naman si Ellis and Japhet, they still need to improve yung consistency nila when it comes to defense... ultimate test sa kanila dito ang laro nila with SMB to gauge them kung aabot or makakalagpas sila sa playoffs.

 

OT: pansin ko lang si James Forrester, until now nagbubutas pa din siya ng upuan, sayang din itong player na ito.

on j flight, a vindication of sort ke ato? hehehehehe sayang at yung nakita sa kanya hung pre-draft ng gins, di na nya napakita....

Since GSM needs a shooter and Gary David is a restricted free agent already do you think his playing style would fit the triangle ?

 

 

 

it would fit...........temporarily. There is also a problem on character.

 

 

 

wag na chief, matanda na at inconsistent. Mahina rin dumipensa. MC47 Ver.2

 

I would still believe and prefer KG Canaleta is a good fit. Very consistent 3pt. shooter.

Magandang support para sa twin towers.

Gary D. is a scorer no doubt about it, Ginebra needs a shooter in lieu of the aging MC47 and Helterbrand pero andyan na sina Thompson na tingin ko pwedeng maging heir apparent ni MC 47 at ang maganda sa kanya magaling mag-set sa team mates n'ya, mas gusto ko pa makuha ng Ginebra si Carlo Lastimosa o kaya si Art Dela Cruz.

Kaya nawalan na din ng shooters ang Ginebra dahil nawala sina Monfort, Urbiztondo at Baracael, me game/s nga na walang field goal sa downtowm ang Ginebra which is odd considering na Tenorio, Thomson, MC47, Mercado could hit. 'Di mo din matatawaran ang toughness inside ni Willy Wilson at hussle ni Brondialm, sa totoo lang ang daming nasayang na players na naglaro sa Ginerba thru the years kung 'di lang sa system (or lack of it) ng mga naging coach ng said team after Tanquincen at Uichico, isa na d'yan si Baguio

 

ano kaya balak ni cone ke ellis... parang nawalan ng confidence... di makashoot.... nawala rin sa fastbreak attack....

 

Minsan starting five pa si Ellis, wala namang ginagawa, Ellis sometimes plays the 3-spot pero 'di s'ya suited doon, sayang sina Intal at Baracael na perfect sa No. 3-spot

Barracael....nah...alang depensa talaga to...at least si ellis pwede mong bigyan ng defensive assignment...pero agree ako ka art dela cruz...carlo lastimosa not that much...too much scorer or feeling mga scorer sa ginebra eh...

 

Pero si thompson needs more playing time talaga...

During that time immature si Romeo with his character problem he has been showing during his stint with UAAP. Nandudura, naglalagay ng dura sa kamay ng players, etc. Siguro that was one factor hindi siya kinuha ng Barangay. Physical puwede pero yung ganung gimmick, hindi uubra. nag mature lang siya ngayon. Siguro pinaliguan ng coach.

Nung nag mature.....di na naten kaya ang presyo hehe. Sabagay si forrester ok ang character....very patient sa bench hehe. Maganda naman team naten ngayon......may mga kailangan lang mag retire. Oagkatapos nun eh ayos na ang transition.

Imho, magfocus na lang muna si Ellis sa defensive assignments nya. Similar to how Ong, Saldana, and Cheng started sa Ginebra. Wag na muna tayong mag expect ng offense kay Ellis. As far as the shooter issue (or the lack thereof) is concerned, wala lang kasing playing time si Aljon Mariano. Kilalang shooter ito during his college days. If not, maghalungkat sa mga out of contract na players. And I'm not even talking about Gary David. First name that comes to mind is Sunday Salvacion and John Wilson.

Oo nga pala. Sayang si Aljon. Magaling na shooter when he was at UST. Bakit binabangko kaya? Sayang talaga. Huwag na si Sunday, palaos na. John Wilson OK sana kaso nga lang isa pang binangko.

Gago naman pala etong si Romeo, baka ganun ang laro nila ni Vice-Ganda noong time na mag-syota pa sila kaya nababakla na din at ginagawa sa kapwa players n'ya sa UAAP hehe. Anyways, sayang talaga dahil Ginebra opt for Forester tapos nag-butas lang ng bangko at eventually na-trade sa barako bull/phoenix at bangko pa din 'til now

i guess it's time to develop scottie big time. ok na yung passing skills niya...nakita na ni coach tim yan. i guess it's time for scottie to score more. medyo gun shy pa sa tingin ko. this kid is a triple double machine in his college days. there are instances when he could've shot the ball but he still chooses to be the facilitator. konting playing time pa siguro.

 

ellis? tingin ko he is more of an open court player...takbo then goes for the slam. is he comfortable with the triangle?
