Jayjay, Miller and Menk. What an argument ... Again you're getting the statement out of context. You miss out on the word "LATELY" ... not been winning titles lately is different from not been winning titles. Note that Jong was able to win a couple of titles for the Gin Kings already. Does it follow just by having 3 "former" MVP then you can win a title? Look at the play of the 3 now compared to their MVP season. Are they still playing at the same level? If you can say YES then I would definitely agree with you. Menk and JJ has been often injured. Miller as we know is a 2 time MVP but how old is the guy. Is he still in his prime? Not like Yancy na 6-9 nga, parati naman nasa labas parang si Pinnissi. Wala ang rebounds sa labas. Gang rebounding ang ginagawa ng Ginebra kaya lang iba talaga kung may the likes of Peak or Pingris. maganda silang complement kay H-Bomb na hindi marunong mag layup tama ka dun mukhang nakalimutan mag-aral ng proper layup... mukhang jumpshot at putback lng ata ang alam s opensa hehehe... but seriously... wla tlagang katulong si H-Bomb hindi n sya bata tulad ng dati nung nagchampion sila. The had arguably the best center and point guard at the time. True. No one can say that a team is a slouch when they reach the Finals and lead 3-1. In comparison, the current San Miguel lineup has all slots filled out, not just the center and point guard slots. Noon, sa center and point guard slots lang sila nahihirapan. Ngaun, almost all positions, either sobrang evenly matched or mismatch ang Ginebra. Sa guard lineup, even lang. Consistency in scoring na lang ang labanan. Sa forwards and centers, dehado ang Barangay due to lack of a healthy and consistent threat in the middle. This I agree on. Given na maganda ang depensa ni Cortez kay Cabagnot nung Game 3, he was used sparingly on Game 4.
