Canned Thoughts Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Gawd I miss The Big J and the old "no-name" Ginebra or Anejo line up (Rudy D, Gonzalgo, Mamaril, Carbonilla, Advani, Isaac etc.) Mga sikat lang (other than the Big J) were the Loyzaga brothers and Ampalayo pero wala talaga stand out sa mga laro nila. Kasi pansin ko whenever manood me ng live, he always look to run on the open court. he always get to run the break me mga and1 pa. either jong puts somebody on cyrus to keep an eye on him especially after a rebound from their offensive end, from an inbound for the red bull's offensive. or have the nearest ginking pick him up instantly to t least prevent him to run; receive the ball, so as to delay and prevent cyrus to gain momentum to run the break. he he, yun e opinion ko lamang. Mas maganda sana kung (hindi pina-uwi ni buddy encarnado ang import nila at) naglaro s’ya to cast out any doubts sa victory ng Ginebra, although 'di maganda ang dahilan (encarnado alleges na Benson is making demands and even threatening not to give his all against the Ginebra, baka ma-ban pa ‘to sa PBA because of that). Also, 11 or 12 assist for Artadi, sabagay ok talaga mag-distribute si Artadi maski sa dikitan na laban. Masasabi ko lang, Coach Jong must pull-out all his aces that he had been keeping against the overachieving rb team of yeng guiao, medyo ‘di maganda ang match-up nila against rb this conference. He must utilize as many players as he can for this series and not just use 9 or 10 player in his rotation. He also have to put a defensive clamp on Baguio, dati si Tubid ang tumatao sa kanya but they still have guys like Valenzuela, Pacana and even Caguiao for that, though it is easier said than done.
