Hari ng Spakol
If you watched the game last night, maiinis at mapapamura ka sa mga ginagawa ng mga veterans ng Gins, particularly sina Tenorio, Sol, MC47, JDV at Jayjay, akala mo sila yung mga rookies, sila yung nara rattle at natataranta, hindi alam ang gagawin, tentative gumalaw, poor shot selection, puro error, isama mo na din si Ellis... buti pa yung talang rookies natin lalo na si Thompson at Salva, sila lang yung matatapang sa loob. If you take a look sa score ng Gins, its obvious na si Greg at Japeth lang talaga ang nagtrabaho kagabi. though its a good sign for Gins, dahil come crunch time and close match, dapat sa kanila ang concentration ng offense. Ang laki ng tiwala Ni Cone kay Japeth, dahil buong 2nd half hindi man lang siya nilabas, babad siya sa loob, buti at malakas pa din ang resistensya ng batang ito. Scottie definitely will be the next Franchise player ng Ginebra, it gave justice for Cone not to pick Norbert Torres instead. imagine 16 minutes lang siyang pinasok pero he got a good stats already: 5 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals. http://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/news/ginebra-finds-something-to-cheer-about-in-s http://www.spin.ph/basketball/news/ginebra-coaches-all-agog-over-scottie-thompson-after-impressive-pba-debut The scores:STAR 86 – Yap 19, Barroca 12, Simon 12, Torres 8, Melton 7, Mallari 6, Pascual 6, Pingris 6, Sangalang 5, Maliksi 3, Reavis 2, Pascual 0, Taha 0GINEBRA 78 – Slaughter 28, Aguilar 26, Ellis 5, Salva 5, Thompson 5, Caguioa 4, Brondial 2, Mariano 2, Devance 1, Helterbrand 0, Mercado 0, Tenorio 0Quarterscores: 37-13, 58-38, 71-52, 86-78 http://www.spin.ph/basketball/news/greg-slaughter-says-learning-the-triangle-is-going-to-be-a-process-nothing-comes-right-away Edited October 26, 2015 by Hari ng Spakol Quote Link to comment

joewhite
When Coach Tim first transferred to Purefoods, puro talo sila. Then when they eventually learned the triangle, they started winning...and the eventual result was the Grand Slam. I believe ganun din mangyayari sa Ginebra. Everyone just needs to learn and believe in the system and once everyone is on board, they should start winning. Its good that they learn muna and take the losses as experience. Hopefully the bad eggs will be discovered and thrown out. Eventually, mag-cha-champion din ulit.... SA TAMANG PANAHON. Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
lets see what this 1st game loss will be the outcome for the BGK fate as i see mdaming BGK players ang matigas ang ulo at ayaw ng tatsulok 1 Quote Link to comment
*kalel*
Ang tingin ko problema kagabi, hindi na depensahan ang tres ng hotshots... hindi naman scavenger points yung habol na puntos ng gins... kitang kita na pumukpok pa rin ang hotshots kahit lamang ng 21 last 8 mins... I think cone was pleased on how the 2 bigs moved and dominated inside...mas maganda kung pumasok yung mga outside shots ng gins... i think eto yung isa sa 2 malaking problema ng ginebra...1. Walang reliable shooter at 2. Wala pamalit ke greg... Yung pamalit ke greg problema yun pag wala si greg totally... japeth is a 4 and 3 hirap sya sa 5... si devance at ellis eh mga 3 din... si brondial eh 4 at si marcelo stretched 5... Any way sana manalo sa barako sa sabado... Edited October 26, 2015 by *kalel* Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
kung ako si Coach Tim bigyan ko si Thompson ng more chunk PT as PG bigyan ng less sina Mercado at LA hehehe Quote Link to comment

Hari ng Spakol
I would like to say thank you for these 3 brave men for their great effort and NSD attitude, by lowering the gap from 31 points down to 8 points and saving the gins for a possible 1st game humiliating loss with Star Hotshots. junix
1 Quote Link to comment
*kalel*
I do not believe na ganung kalakas si mark at jj... as i have said before patrimonio was not able to save jerry from being traded nor danny s in the case of lakay... my point is players do not hold that much influence sa management ng smc teams.... even the great jaworski was replaced (at binastos muna so to speak ng smc when they hired allan w out inform8ng him).... What i heard was that cariaso was playing the blame game which irked the players... and in my opinion even if walang sisihan, was cariaso was not even doing a good job... stat wise, i think agustin was better in terms of finishing sa isang conference.... Cap™
I didn't see much of the game but could you really say that Japeth increased his basketball IQ? Parang iffy for me pero nakita ko highlights ni Thompson and parang bagay nga sa kanya mag-PG for Ginebra given na iffy yung shooting niya sa NCAA. Sol Mercado's a shadow of himself simula nung nawala siya sa Meralco tbh Quote Link to comment
azraelmd
I dont get much..yun sinasabing basketball IQ ni japhet...bakit sinabing mababa yun basketball IQ nya? Nakita ng lahat how he played sa gilas...even nun first few games ng ginebra... Quote Link to comment

Never been a good rebounder and settles for jump shots most of the time kasi. Quote Link to comment
*kalel*
i think japeth had matured since his pre-ginebra days... paunti unti pero small positive ways... 1 Quote Link to comment
