Saka nasa Ginebra naman ang 1st round pick ng Air 21 next year (most probably Air 21 will get either the first or the 2nd overall pick).

Yung mga first round picks na ipinamigay ng BGK is for 2014. Isa lang yun. The other one was a 2015 2nd round pick.

Asi is now a free agent. At eithe rhe signs up for Barako Bull or with an ABL team. Coach Baculi has intended to get Maliksi, Yeo or Baguio. Mukhang patama yan sa SMC. They can offer Kramer or Anthony for Maliksi or Yeo.

sana si JR Reyes na lang, mas ok pa sya. Oldies na si Asi. ^_^

Me edad na si Asi eh, though he still plays with a lot of heart ke sa PBA or as part of the RP Team.

If the Cool Cat doesn't get traded, it would be interesting to see a Tenorio-Cortez backcourt. Not necessarily starting together since Caguioa will be the starting off guard. Once bitter rivals in the UAAP, I'm intrigued as to how these two would fare together in the back court. Animo La Salle!!! One big fight!!!

Eric Menk signs with Ginebra as reserve, ABL stint planned

Eric Menk will remain with Ginebra San Miguel — at least until after the upcoming Philippine Cup.

The 2004 PBA Most Valuable Player came to terms with management, according to his new agent Shery; Reyes. He will begin the year in the reserve list for Ginebra in the PBA before transferring to the ASEAN Basketball League.

“He will be reserved in the all-Filipino, then he will go straight to the ABL afterwards to play for the San Miguel Beermen,” said Reyes.

Both Ginebra and San Miguel are owned by san Miguel Corporation.

Earlier, Ginebra offered Menk to be a part-time player and a skills coach. But Menk, who wants to play two more years of competitive basketball, rejected the initial offer.

Menk, who recently turned 38, played in just seven games for Ginebra last season because of injuries. He averages career lows in minutes (8.9) and scoring (1.7).

i feel sad for eric menk, after all the contributions he gave for the franchise..but sad to say father time has caught up with major pain.. this is hard for a decorated athlete to accept that his glory days are over. mahirap nga namang tanggapin

Ganyan talaga it's all part of being a professional players, agree ako na father time had caught-up with Menk, kailangan din naman ng Ginebra ng center to be competitive....

This guy Asi Taulava has all heart for the Philippines. He even always volunteer to be in our national teams. One call, call kaagad siya. I think Barangay has to hire him. He gives his all sa mga games maski 38 years old na. Also maski kunin na rin si Andaya. Sayang itong kid na ito. He also has the heart, the determination to succeed. Talagang hindi lang nabibigyan ng playing time or baka hindi fit sa style ng play ng team niya. Parang naiisip ko kung si Jawo ang coach, he will get both, just like the way he did with E.J. Feihl and Marlou Aquino during the 90s. Jawo likes developing big men (with his pagmumura hahahaha).

at this stage of their careers i'll pick asi over eric at least maybe for just one conference.

CBA? Continental Basketball Association?

Kunin na lang sana sya ng Ginebra even for one season only..
