Rico M. played big last night, he gave Ginebra shotblocking, rebounding and the energy that they badly needed last night, napuna n'yo noong pumasok s'ya nakahabol sila at lumamang pa then noong nilabas s'ya lamang na naman ang petron in just a few plays, wary na nga ang petron sa shotblocking ability n'ya lalo na si Jay-Wash. Maganda din sana ang laro ni Rico V. kaso nakaka-asar pag binibigyan ng bola ni Mark Caguio laging nagpa-fumble, ok s'ya ni scoring off a rebound, pero kung pumasok 'yung attempted dunk n'yas it would have brought the house down, sayang sandali lang sa loob si Mamaril. As for Mark, he just played his usual game last night, leading them to victory, talagang napasa na sa kanya ang torch ni Jawo, kita n'yo naman nagmano pa ke Jawo hehe. Kudos din kina Ababou, Cortez and Hatfield

Last night was just historical til the last second. Ito yung totoong Ginebra na nagustuhan ng masa from then, til now. Pukpukan hanggang dulo, may dumadive, may nabibigyan ng hard fouls, at may crowd frenzy.

 

At malas lang ng Petron na laging sila ang biktima ng mga cardiac wins ng Barangay.

 

2-0 na. 2 more to go, and sigurado na ang BGK sa isang automatic Finals playoff.

Talagang mga semifinals/playoffs fouls talaga amg nakita natin kagabi, kita n'yo naman mga bigay ni Rico V., Peña at Washington, etc., mga foul na ala Jawo ang bigayan kagabi hehe

My simple equation for the present BGK:

 

 

Jaworski = Caguioa + R. Villanueva + R. Maierhoffer

 

 

Caguioa represents the scoring prowess of Jawo and his never say die attitude including his manner of attacking the basket.

 

Rico V represents the heightened emotion and the physical game of Jawo.

 

Rico M epitomizes the "no fear" attitude of Jawo in getting rebounds and in blocking any opponent no matter how big he is.

 

Hope these 3 guys will be given more playing time always.

Even Jason Webb admired the way Rico Villanueva took it strong to the basket many times against Washington or Peña or the import and fishing fouls in the process.

 

R. Maierhoofer was excellent in his well-timed blocks and rebounds despite his limited size!
