Kazekage.Gaara
Well yeah but that Shell team was no slouch since they made the finals and was a heartbeat away from winning it all. The had arguably the best center and point guard at the time. True. No one can say that a team is a slouch when they reach the Finals and lead 3-1. In comparison, the current San Miguel lineup has all slots filled out, not just the center and point guard slots. Noon, sa center and point guard slots lang sila nahihirapan. Ngaun, almost all positions, either sobrang evenly matched or mismatch ang Ginebra. Sa guard lineup, even lang. Consistency in scoring na lang ang labanan. Sa forwards and centers, dehado ang Barangay due to lack of a healthy and consistent threat in the middle. The fact that you said that they may not have been winning titles states that Jong is not effective in his methods in getting Ginebra a championship considering they have 3 former MVPs in their line-up. Jayjay, Miller and Menk. The problem is... tsambahan ang tamang combination ni Jong sa rotation nya ng mga player... And you can't heavily depend on Menk na kagagaling lang sa injury and limited ang minutes sa paglalaro. bakit di bigyan ng opportunity si cortez during crunch time? kahit hindi effective si jayjay, siya parin ang pinasok.. ilan beses ba siya nag attempt na hindi pumasok? hirap din siya bantayan si cabagnot.. This I agree on. Given na maganda ang depensa ni Cortez kay Cabagnot nung Game 3, he was used sparingly on Game 4. Naiiwan si JJ pag drive ni Cabagnot, which allowed the tie nung regulation in the first place. Edited January 13, 2011 by Kyoji_Kagami Quote Link to comment
Richmond
It seems that Ginebra is having a hard time winning close games against SMB. Quote Link to comment

Gotta agree with you on that, Helterbrand hasn't been playing his A-game as of late, despite of that pinipilit pa din ni Jong kahit 'di s'ya productive Quote Link to comment

Kazekage.Gaara
Ginebra wins by a large margin tonight... Nice rebounding and defense on J-Wash. And... luckily, nilalagnat si Cabagnot. Quote Link to comment

Kazekage.Gaara
Ginebra goes does 4-2 to San Miguel in Game 5: 89 - 86. Arwind Santos is the player of the game... Kudos to Ginebra... But once again... they collapse in the end game... =( Quote Link to comment
photographer
STILL a good game pa rin for an injury-ridden team sa conference. hopefully next they will get na hindi controversial na import and well-healed na ang mga players. Maganda kasi kung buo yung team. They did their best, but their best wasn't good enough. CONGRATULATIONS TO SAN MIGUEL .....................and IDOL CABAGNOT!!! HANEP YUNG BIGLANG THREE POINTS MO!!!
