Guest inverbrass
You have nothing against Jong and yet umaasa kang palitan na siya should he not win the current conference for the Gin Kings. Kuha mo megaboy or nahihirapan kang intindihin naman? Wag mo ko itulad sayo na bonafide fair weather fan. Magbackread ka sa thread na to at dito mo malalaman na hindi lang ako ang umaasa na palitan si Jong. But then again, I don't expect you to backread since you're only a fair weather fan. Megaeltati
Quote Link to comment

Kasi sila die hard fans. Ikaw, fair weather fan kaya dapat ka lang sitahin. Edited January 11, 2011 by inverbrass Quote Link to comment

Kazekage.Gaara
A heartbreaking loss to BGK in double overtime... 108-104. Poor execution on Ronald Tubid... Nakatalon na, ibinaba pa ulit yung bola... Travelling tuloy... Not to mention Rudy Hatfield's attempts to shoot three pointers during the dying seconds of the 1st overtime... Sow Sad... The scores: San Miguel 108 - Washington 19, Cabagnot 17, Seigle 15, Ildefonso 13, Hontiveros 12, Santos 11, Racela 8, Pena 6, Artadi 4, Salvacion 3, Yeo 0. Ginebra 104 - Tubid 28, Villanueva 19, Miller 14, Caguioa 9, Menk 9, Helterbrand 8, Intal 7, Wilson 5, Cortez 3, Hatfield 2. Quote Link to comment
RED2018
They will now be hard-pressed to steal the series...nweys, they have been there, and done that (hopefully again ...) Quote Link to comment
kempaf
they did their best ...but i guess their best wasn't good enough. missed free throws ni helterbrandmissed footback ni hatfield Quote Link to comment
junix
they did their bestsayang! best wasn't good enough to salvage the win. heartbreaking loss indeed. breaks of the game...a missed free throw by caguioa that could have given them a 3 point lead...2 missed free throws by jayjay...the traveling call on tubid. kings had their chances but it was not meant to be. Guest eljuego
If there is one team that has proven it can come back from a 3-1 deficit, it's Ginebra. Remember the 1991 Open Conference? Quote Link to comment

Remember the 1991 Open Conference? true. true... however... their opponent during that time cannot be compared to the current powerhouse lineup of San Miguel Beer. Pero still, manalo matalo, Ginebra all the way. I just hope that they change Jong Uichico as the head coach. Tangquincen does a better job than him, and everyone knows that Jaworski will do a helluva job bringing the team back in the Finals. Quote Link to comment
paupau
patalo si JJ. sayang ung 2 missed freethrows nya sa 1st OT, they could have won the game. sablay din si tubid masyado nanggigil nung dying seconds. last possession sana kaso ewan ko at bigla naisipan tumira ng tres, traveling tuloy. tsk tsk panalo na sana.. junix
one game at a time and let's see if they did not get demoralized with that heartbreaking loss. kings had a golden opportunity to steal a win...nabulilyaso pa. Quote Link to comment
Megaeltati
a sorry loss ...those miss free throws in regulation if converted could have easily won the game. Still hoping they can win 3 straight. Quote Link to comment

Tama! Tulad nga ng sinabi nung commentator kahapon: Either Never Say Die ang BGK, or Do Or Die. It just so happens na ang specialty ng Gins would be do or die matches... Hoping to see a Game 7 out of this series. Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
napanood ko lng yung 3rd Qtr... hirap sila sa rebound pero dikit lng yung laban... kailangan tlagang tambakan muna ang SMB sa simula pa lng kung dikitan masyadong lamado llamado ang kalaban. hoping we could see this series till Game 7. Not like Yancy na 6-9 nga, parati naman nasa labas parang si Pinnissi. Wala ang rebounds sa labas. Gang rebounding ang ginagawa ng Ginebra kaya lang iba talaga kung may the likes of Peak or Pingris. maganda silang complement kay H-Bomb na hindi marunong mag layup Quote Link to comment

They may have not been winning titles lately but hindi naman siguro mas madaming games silang natalo kaysa ipinanalo. The fact that you said that they may not have been winning titles states that Jong is not effective in his methods in getting Ginebra a championship considering they have 3 former MVPs in their line-up. Jayjay, Miller and Menk. Edited January 13, 2011 by inverbrass Quote Link to comment
