Matindi talaga 'yung follow-up slam ni Intal (who stands about 6'3), biruin mo nasa likod n'ya si Belasco who is one tough rebounder at 6'6 pa pero dahil sataas ng talon ni Intal wala s'yang nagawa. Actually Intal had already earned that superstar status bro, kita n'yo naman pag hawak na n'ya 'yung bola sigawan na ang mga fans ng Ginebra at lalo na pag fastbreak play na, I just hope that superstar status don't get into his head esp. when his contract expires. Obviously'di pa 100% sina Helterbrand at Caguiao but like I said I think that Celino Cruz is doing a good job pero kailangan lalo n'yang pagbutihin against alaska dahil matindi din ang PG ng alaska na sina ilong este tenorio pala at miller, let's also admit it na medyo may edad na din ang The Fast and the Furious hehe just like in the case of E-Menk (35 y.o.) at sa klase ng laro nila na takbo ng takbo at talon ng talon it takes its toll on their knees and ankles....

It's comforting to know that JC Intal has come to his own. I thought that he'd warm the bench for Ginebra. He's the shining star among the Blue Eagles in the Ginebra line-up.

Dapat nga pala sa Ginebra mag-practice ng todo sa free throws, lalo na si Intal, remember that 2 missed FT's? Its important that they convert as many as they can against a team like alaska (or any teams for that matter)....

Game 1 is a blowout game for alaska. the final score is alaska 160 - bgk 60. Miller scored 150 and LA added 10. kevin white score 60 for ginebra. JC did not play due to migraine.

 

Game 2 is a close game but ginebra could not sustained the pressure as it goes to triple overtime. The final score is alaska 88 bgk 87. JJ miss both the two crucial free throws of the last .3 of a seconds.

 

Game 3 is a very physical game. Tubid was brutally slapped on the face by sonny thoss but no foul was called. Ginebra decided to walk out with just 30 seconds being played in the game. Final score is alaska 3 - bgk 0.

 

Game 4 is another down the wire game but for the most part of the game it seemed ginebra will lose but they came back from a 60 point deficit. caguioa is the best player of the game as he scored a career high 120 points. JC also get a new a career high of 80 points while JJ assist is a whooping 100. final score is bgk 200 - alaska 50 (all for LA)

 

Game 5 went to 8th overtime but ginebra won the game thanks to hail mary shot of rich alvarez on the last 2 seconds of the 8th overtime. final score is bgk 160 - alaska 159.

 

Game 6 is another walk out incident this time alaska did it because of a flagrant penalty 2 slapped on sonny thoss and la tenorio for accidentally or intentionally elbowing kevin white. score is bgk 2 - alaska 0.

 

Game 7 goes to ginebra. final score bgk 113 - alaska 100

PBA commissioner Sonny Barrios said that aside from the forfeiture of Game 4 in favor of the Gin Kings, the league has levied a P500,000 fine on the Tropang Texters, the amount of which shall be paid to Ginebra under section 32 of the PBA constitution and by-laws.

The walkout was certainly not the first time Talk 'N Text has cried foul claiming unfairness. Throughout the whole Asi Taulava ordeal about his citizenship, TNT Management always felt that Noli was unfair with dissallowing their big man to play because of him not having the proper documentation. They even had the PNP ready to arrest the commissioner at one point with cops at the Araneta if he didn't allow Asi to play. They've protested the location of their bands, extent of cheering on court of their cheerleaders and other non basketball related matters which had guidelines from the start.

Maganda 'yung article kahapon ni Recah Trinidad sa Phil. Daily Inquirer, ayon doon matapos ang laro naiwan ang dalaga este si mvp sa Araneta Coliseum until the last light of the coliseum was turned-off, probably pondering as to what happened and maybe even thinking about the future of his team kung magroon ba ng revamp sa line-up or maybe even pati coach and if I may the puzzle that Ginebra is which walk n talk can't seem to solve esp. sa playoffs hehe.
