imo chot is second to vice-gov yeng when it comes to complaining against officiating in the pba. kung pwede lang i-contest ang bawat tawag ng referees gagawin ni chot bwahahaha :thumbsupsmiley:

Sus! I was at an event coverage kaya di ko napanood pero umalingasngas sa venue na nag walk nga daw ang TNT. Dun nga daw sa tawag kay Abnoy,este,Ranidel de Ocampo. . Si Chot, bading nahawa na ata kay Manny Pangilinan. Dapat tinapos na lang nila ang laro then protest later. I cant imagine if Takot and Text will appear sa Araneta this Sunday with legions of Ginebra fans waiting in ambush kay Bading together with his big brother bading. Pikon talo, chot, Wag kang maging clone ni perennial absentee na si Yeng Bokal Barumbado Guiao. Di maganda ginawa mo. Pito lang lamang ng Ginebra, nag panick ka na. Well, PREPARED FOR THE WORST THIS SUNDAY, CHOT!!! You BADING!

WORST role models these Yeng Guiao and Chot Reyes. Tim Cone complains a lot din pero di nag wa walk out. Yeng also did a walkout years ago.

The Talk and Text team from coach to the management don't care about their commitment to the fans and the PBA organization as a whole and should be expelled out of the league. They acted like a bunch of spoiled brat not getting what they wanted

it is very clear na kampi mga refs sa BGK...sa press statement ni chot doon makikita mga statistics which is very believable! dapat fair game lang...according to chot, the refs are calling poorly especially kay alapag at deocampo....foul agad kahit d nagalaw.

Ang tanong d'yan, maglalaro kaya ang tnt bukas? Suspended kaya si ranidel bukas? Also, I think that chot should be dealt with dahil sa sinabi n'ya sa referees. Its not good for the league. If tnt wants to pull-out of the PBA due to that so be it....

 

TNT walks out of game 4!

 

Bad trip nga, nagmadali akong umuwi ng maaga para lang mapanood ko pagdating ko ng around 6 pm tapos na ang laro..

 

apparently ranidel de ocampo committed a flagrant 2 on a driving ronald tubid. after a series of technical fouls. chot reyes,with manny pangilinan's blessing, ordered his players to walk out.

 

series is now tied

1st quarter pa lang at 7 lang ang lamang, hindi kagaya ng walk-out ng Ginebra noon sa championship series nila with shell wherein nag-walk out sila dahil ang import nila (Sylvester Gray) 4 or 5 fouls na yata 1st (o 2nd) quarter pa lang yata. Valid ang walk out ng Ginebra noon dahil during those times dahil they are relying on Gray to score and get the rebounds battling the likes of Paras and Parks, itong sa tnt kaduwagan na lang dahil kitang-kita naman na hard foul ang ibinigay ni ranidel kay Tubid, sa laki ng katawan ni ranidel aakalain mo (lalo na syempre sa part ni chot) simpleng bangga lang pero it can alter or deter a player's attempt and worse even do him harm..

 

well un nga..unfair officiating.

sa guidelines daw ng pagtawag ng flagrant 2, wala daw gnawa si R. Ocampo. eto ung, undercutting a player, hitting a player above the shoulder, etc.

sabi din ni Chot, since game 1, malimit tumawag ng fouls ang refs sa TNT. mas madami silang inside pts and attempts sa ginebra bkt daw sila pa ang konting trips sa free throw.

 

(im totally surprised by this, kasi ang tagal na nya sa basketball, eh hindi naman law or general rule yan sa BBALL, its possible na d lang tlga pumapasok mga inside shots nyo, nagkakataon na kapag ginebra mag shoot sa outside, lagi pasok or if they attempt it inside, nafofoul)

and he mentioned a referees' name, dpat di daw un magreferee sa PBA, hindi daw nya deserve yun.

 

tapos one play kay alapag vs tubid: tubid flops daw, wlang tawag..alapag picks up the ball, boom offensive foul.

So ok lang pag sila ang nagbibigay ng hard foul (esp. carrey, ranidel at cardona) sa mga players ng Ginebra pero pag ang Ginebra ang nagbigay todo reklamo at walk-out na agad with the blessing of basketball patron wannabe mvp. Si cardona nga noon sinipa si Tubid while Tubid is sprawled on the floor..

Tim Cone complains a lot and would even get 2 technical fouls to get thrown out just to try and fire-up his players, kaya kahit maka Ginebra ako bilib din ako minsan kay Cone

They should have asked a meeting with the league officials and aired their concerns. Alam naman natin na ang PBA is for the entertainment of the fans. Baka gusto ni chot matignan lang ni Tubid si cardona foul na hehe, "prrtt foul! masama ang tingin mo kay cardona!" Ganon ba chot and mvp?

 

Ganon talaga sa basketball, minsan you get a favorable call and the breaks go your way, minsan naman hindi, it ain't a one-way street chot and mvp.

 

With regards sa walk out ng Ginebra noon against shell, may katwiran naman talaga dahil rag-tag na nga ang line-up nila noon as compared to the players of shell tapos may 4 o 5 fouls na agad ang import nila during the 1st quarter (o 2nd yata) whom they are relying to score and get the rebounds againts the likes of Paras and parks (who are both monster rebounders).

They should put a permanent ban on those teams that walk out. I just watched the PBA just the other day out of curiosity at the Kapamilya channel of TFC. Game 2 between Ginebra and Talk N Text was shown live here in the States. I'm impressed at the game of Intal. He was a good player for Ateneo during his UAAP days. When I watched early this morning. I noticed that the Ginebra players were doing their shoot around and I found out that the TNT players did a walkout. I really don't follow the PBA that much anymore ever since Jaworski and the old Ginebra team disbanded about a decade ago. I also watched the second game between Rain or Shine and Purefoods. I noticed that Sol Mercado tries to pattern his game after Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz.

Tama... saka ang rason ni Jawo noon, hindi consistent ang tawag ng refs. Maluwag ang mga calls noon sa previous games ng Championship tapos biglang naghigpit. Well, yung expectations ng coaching staff at players ay maluwag na calls kaya ganun ang preparations nila, tapos biglang magbabago... sira lahat ng plays nila. Fined noong ang Ginebra but the league officials learned from that kaya inimposed na nila sa refs na dapat consistent ang mga calls sa lahat ng games.

Subukan kaya ng PBA si Chot ang mag referee kung magiging consistent siya! SIGE NGA!!! Puro kayo ni Pangilinan puro dada ng dada. Why not ban coaches like Yeng Guiao and Chot? Once nanood ako, nag d dirty finger pa ang pinagmumura ang mga referee pero hindi lang pinapansin sila. SUBUKAN MONG MAG REFEREE, CHOT, BADING, PARA MALAMAN MO ANG HIRAP NG TRABAHONG IYUN. Ikaw nga nakatayo lang nag i init na tumbong mo, mga refs pa na buong laro akyat baba sa court! Pinagmumumura pa ng fans. Tahimik lang sila! Eh, ikaw, yung syota mong si Ranidel lang na thrown out, naglupasay ka na! And also,,,,,,,,,,dapat may sanction din si Cardona, namumuno pa siya pag pag aya sa mga kakampi niyang mag walk out!

 

Teka, na refund ba ang pera nyo kayong nanood sa Araneta? Sabi ni Commish Barrios, i re refund daw. Kitamo, bading Chot ka! Pati Araneta personnel, naperwisyo sa mga tantrums mo!

What is frustrating and disappointing in all these fiasco is that MVP, the head of SBP, ordered/allowed his team TNT to walk out. It clearly shows lack of professionalism and sportsmanship on the part of MVP. In the end, us basketball fans are the losers in this situation. Maybe it's time to assess our basketball program, as it now becomes cloudy under MVP, a man who showed lack of class in his actions. Clearly, MVP owes us basketball fans, at the very least, an apology.

Atenista kasi! (nope, joke lang). Tama ka! dapat maging isang magandang role model ang isang Chairman of the Board and CEO! PLDT pa naman, eh, customer satisfaction.hehehe Now I know kung bakit kapag tumatawag ka sa Customer Service ng PLDT, puro na lang sakit ng ulo aabutin mo. That's the way, siguro, MVP handles PLDT customers, like fans of the PBA!

from the interview, implement the rules daw kaya forfeit after 7 minutes. Para sa fans ba yung rule na yan? Kung ang dapat isipin ay fans, ang sabihin ng PBA pinabalik na lang dapat at continue ang laro. Pero it's a different story kung ayaw na talaga bumalik ng TNT - forfeit talaga. Pero dapat management call ang forfeit for the team. Not the PBA commissioner.

 

For me, bigay na lang sa BGK ang series. Congrats, BGK!
