maxiev
Been on Holland America, Princess, and Costa cruises. I liked the Alaskan cruise we took in 2001. That was on the Veendam, one of Holland America's cruise ships. Quote Link to comment

Try googling them up  Yes, cruising is the most relaxing way to travel. Partying every night, eating to your heart's content, swimming, sun-bathing, recreational activiites, etc. all while en route to the next country on the itenerary. Nothing beats cruising. maxiev
I have been on board the following ships: Disney MagicDisney WonderCarnival FantasyRoyal Carribean Mariner of the SeasRoyal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas For me, the Royal Carribean ships were the best. They had more to offer than the other cruise lines. They have the biggest ships. If you stay in a Grand Suite or better, you are given access to a special 'concierge room". Here, there are special hors d'oeuvres and all the bar drinks you can imagine for free. In addition, the concierge person will arrange for you to get the best seats to the shows they offer on the ship. On the other hand, the Disney Cruise Line offered the best service. Service that is synonymous with Disney. Obviously, the Disney ships are great if you are traveling with kids. The kids have unlimited access to all the famous Disney characters. The only negative thing is that the Disney ships do not have a casino. I'm attaching a photo to give you an idea of size difference between a Royal Carribean ship and a Disney ship. The photo was taken inside Mariner of the Seas.I prefer being in a smaller cruise ship than a really large one. Smaller cruise ships are more intimate...one gets to interact with the other passengers more intimately. Huge cruise ships sometimes carry up to 3,000 passengers where the chances of bumping into a new-found friend are slim because of the large crowds. Also food lines on smaller ships with less passengers aren't as long.  Give me a smaller ship any day. It's more fun on a smaller ship where it's easier to make acquaintances. Quote Link to comment

oscartamaguchiblackface
Meron bang cruise line along south-East asian countries?Star Cruises operate out of Hong Kong. Destinations include Southeast Asian countries as well as some ports of call in China,, South Korea, Japan and Vietnam. Several years ago we embarked on a cruise on a Costa Cruise (Italian registry) that brought us to Sanya, in China's Hainan Province as well as Halong Bay in Vietnam. Costa Cruise also operates out of Hong Kong. Â I'm certain there are other cruise lines that operate out of Singapore, Malaysia, and probably Thailand. Best to find the cruise you want on the internet. Quote Link to comment

Brownman
Love cruising freestyling with NCL and Royal Carib. Heard that a few cruise lines are targetting Bora and Palawan as one of their stops. Since cruisng, I have never gone back to the all inclusives. Quote Link to comment

Brownman
Just got off NCL Epic....not liking the big boats anymore. Inside is not as grand as the older ships, did not even get the chance to see the whole ship. Quote Link to comment
