centrino
First time ko lang dumaan sa SLEX since nag simula construction. Muntik na nga akong banggain ng isang Hilux last Monday dahil sa biglang pag singit papuntang counter flow. E ako, I'm not familiar na meron palang counter flow, ginawa ko is pinadaan ko siya so i could get to its right side to overtake the son of a b%t#h yun pala kumaliwa. Habang ako na stuck sa traffic dahil lumampas na sa entrance ng counterflow :grr: All because wala sa PNCC na may utak o common sense man lang para maglagay ng signs or warnings... First dadaan ka sa maze yung dinaanan mo nung umaga hindi na ganun next day huhulaan mo kung san ka liliko mga ULOL!!! Quote Link to comment
warpzone
medyo delikado nga yun counterflow... dun ako dumaan last monday, wala man lang harang or warning sign.. Quote Link to comment

sirlet
Palagi akong dumadaan sa SLEX at NLEX. Nakita ko kung paani ginawa both. Ibang iba. B*$@sh&t ang SLEX. Biro mo mula Lipa to Manila at one point, inabot ako ng 5 hours sa sobrang traffic. Whoa! Quote Link to comment
alphaqomega
fault also lies with the contractor, DMCI, do they need to close that long stretch of the highway even if they aren't and haven't started construction on that portion yet? those A-holes from DMCI and PNCC should be fined for wasting slex user's time and money Quote Link to comment
BrokenArrow
Buti ngayon medyo nagimprove ang traffic dito Quote Link to comment

skyline_GTR
SLEX might be finished but its already had quick fixes...I'm referring to potholes already being repaired and not repaired properly Quote Link to comment
boner51873
SLEX might be finished but its already had quick fixes...I'm referring to potholes already being repaired and not repaired properly ang sabi naman ay tapusin and SLEX at skyway...wala naman sinabi na kailangang tapusin nang maayos... Here are some of my observations about the SLEX: 1. the road is not smooth. there are areas that are really bumpy and you feel like you're in EDSA...potholes everywhere! it shows that the management/contractors were not adherent to the proper road-building standards...do i smell TONGPATS? Even the skyway is like this...you can actually feel the road undulate...don't tell me that's how it really is... 2. there are a lot of slow-moving vehicles and large vehicles (buses and trucks) occupying the left most lane contributing to slowing down of traffic. 3. Tollgates are slow...or there are not enough tollgates for the amount of traffic they handle...did they do a study on this before saying how many tollgates they need? Quote Link to comment
remonnoces
SLEX - thumbs down , poor service . Almost everyday passing in this road , nothing to do but to pray . Quote Link to comment
daredevil67011
SLEX - thumbs down , poor service . Almost everyday passing in this road , nothing to do but to pray . Three lanes dapat yun if you follow the yellow lanes, pero parang dalawa lang din ang kasya pag may katabi kang bus or truck(4) Walang pintura yung Calamba to alabang! Quote Link to comment
thanos28
hmmm.. kulang sa Traffic Management ung Skway Management nd ung Contractor c DMCI.. you're right...dapat ibalik sa Kinder ang managements ng SLEX, para matuto...slex Super sLow....mas mauunahan ka pa ata ng pagong f you will pass on that damn road! robbietan
I hope you realize that the maximum speed on SLEX is supposedly 80kph. I believe that 80 km/h is the minimum speed for the SLEX. for the NLEX, the minimum is 85 km/h. watch out for the 12% eVAT for the tolls as arrovo places the tollways under her "ramdam ko ang asenso" program.....erferferf Quote Link to comment
brutus
minimum speed is 60kph, max is 80kph while at nlex, min is 80kph, max 100kph Quote Link to comment
