dirk.diggler
I think Pex has the most extensive information about HK. Helped me a lot whenever I go there. http://www.pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php?t=712719 Quote Link to comment

BettyConfidential
Avoid Central at all cost. Para ka lang nasa Pinas. Too many Pinoys and food aren't that good. But if you're after shopping for branded stuff, they got them here. Also, avoid taking city tours (it was my first time so I took one). The agency will rip you off with charges for this and that. Tapos yung city tour dinala lang kami sa jewelry/chocolate shops and they aren't cheap either. For hotels, kung mag-iikot ka lang din naman, don't take one. Go for hostels or pension houses. There are several along Jordan Road. Didn't enjoy Disney either. Mostly for kids. I only got to enjoy the parade and the fireworks at night. Quote Link to comment

Inbred
Try Butterfly Hotel. Not much in terms of F&B but rooms are clean and modern. The big plus is each room comes with its own Mobile Phone (a Smartphone, not just some Feature Phone) that you can use during the duration of your stay. And it's got unlimited data so just use it as your Mobile Hotspot while in HK! Quote Link to comment
Sportsman123
Suggest you book through airbnb and select locations within mongkok. Best move you'll ever make! Another good move to make is to take bus instead of airport express train to the city. That's hkd33 vs hkd90 for just a travel time difference of 20 mins plus you get a better view Quote Link to comment
