gift_of_game
re: the Texan... it's a bit lazy. dunno if that's part of the plan of him applying a bit of deception to it.he starts slow, there doesn't appear to be a hitch to it but he consistently blows batters away with 100 mph fireballs. he makes it look easy in a Pedro-in-his-heyday kind of way. baseball fans are geeks. if you want to know more about these guys, there's really no shortage of free materials to read online. But judging by cali's "busy-ness" level, I'm sure he hasn't done any scouting at all. Quote Link to comment
consiglieri
though when i asked him if the pick was on the block (hindi daw) he prolly has his sights on someone... baka dun busy Quote Link to comment
TripleDouble
@consig - well i wouldn't know, really... im just a baseball bonehead @jongkers - the only thing i know is, he needs a closer... and i got one to spare... and i need to build a decent farm... that's all Quote Link to comment

I might not make a bid for that overall pick though.Mas kelangan ko si Furcal. If I get Furcal, I'll have a pretty decent batting lineup na.Get 3 more aces from the draft and a backup closer, then call up a big bat by mid-season, then I'm ready to go.Having probably only one pick this season, I'll have to defend the title even if it means not having a decent farm again. This is The Mutts Program. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

gift_of_game
hey, they won too man. I know it seems like ancient history... and then they started doling out big money for older players and it all went to hell. could the Mutts be treading the same path? that's the question. :hypocritesmiley: @consigschool of thought ka diyan... basta, all you need to know is right HERE.
