Chest xray clear I was deployed to Cambodia in 2019 for my work and their locally made Marlboros were fucking nasty as in minsan pag nag smoker's cough ka may black stuff kasama. Parang hindi fully combusted ang cig and nalalanghap mo kasama ang ash. Na paranoid ako so I quit there and then. Drank water pag may cravings ako. It was tough but I didn't waste the opportunity of being alone and no one to invite you to smoke. tl;dr: what worked for me was quitting cold turkey, being out of reach for a few weeks and replacing smoke breaks with water breaks. p.s. vaping didnt work for me Edited November 12, 2021 by juststalking Removed extra spaces Quote Link to comment

UncleJones Posted November 13, 2021 Share Posted November 13, 2021 I stopped smoking about 2yrs ago and started with vape, sad reality for me is when I got hit a little hard with Covid, that’s when I realised, even vaping has got to stop, so I am smoke/vape free for about 3months now. I was a heavy smoker for 12 years (2 packs a day) then one day I just realized I wanted to stop and so I stopped, first week was difficult but I managed. Haven't smoked for almost 10 years now.
