stormwatch
I use Falken Ziex. Even if madali mapudpod, very reliable and good wet traction even if kalbo na. Cons - expensive Yokohama - ok naman sila maski local. I would prefer the local yokohama than the imported ones since the local are engineered to the philippine climate. Bridgestones - one of the good daily drivers and long lasting. Stock tires sometimes aquaplane. Nexen - these are really good economy tires. Tried these before and can doo great speed without blowing up. Michelin - ok naman but sometimes noisy on the road. Prone to deformity if you left your vehicle flat for a while. These are the tires that I've tried. Quote Link to comment
Zarbor
I have seen & used all types. Dunlop - inexpensive, fairly quiet, wears wellPirelli & Michelin - excellent Westlake - has improved a lotDurun - inexpensive and durable, a bit noisyBridgestone - second to MichelinYokohama - next to Bridgestone China made tires have improved really. Just make sure you replace after 4 years. Quote Link to comment
carcinohate
Sorry if OT:But im thinking of either Westlake Sport RS or Achilles 123S (195/50/15). Theyre both priced very nice - around 2,600 per piece. Very nice looking tread designs. I wonder kung sinong may experience na with both..? Anybody? Quote Link to comment

mercurio
I tried D Centi tyres (225/40/18) - Made in China but it lasted 3 years. Never had any problem. Quiet ride. Now I roll on Definity, same size, also made in China with a fairly quiet ride. Hope it lasts me at least 3 years too. Quote Link to comment

thepressurebomber
I've only used Nankang NS2 185/55 r17 on my honda civic. Came bundled with the mags I've purchased 4 years ago. It is noisy at highway speeds (100+kph, under 85 it's quite fine) when the road isn't perfect asphalt. On wet surfaces, it doesn't grip as well, and can be coaxed to do wheelspins, which may be a good or a bad thing, depending on what you want and the situation. On dry surfaces, they are great, but I would not mistake them for being the best. I had tested them in speeds exceeding 180 KMpH and they are still stable at those speeds. The tires are durable, I'd say they still have a lot of life left after 30kKM, but due to improper wheel allignment, the sides are mostly used up, while the center still looks new. As a bonus, the thread looks good when driving over gravel. I've been wanting to know what to replace them with, since tires my size are rare, and even I see one, they are out of my budget at Php 7-12k each. Nankang is around 4k per piece, so I might buy them again due to acceptable performance. 1 Quote Link to comment
