zen.tadios
I have been using Avira anti-virus for several years now and since then, it has been bugging me to install updates during startup. Should I do so? Or switch to Avast just like most of you guys have mentioned? Quote Link to comment

TheTerminator
avast or mcafee Avast. I've been using Avast since 2008. Never had problems with it at all. Quote Link to comment
magnus_eric
Avast still reliable Quote Link to comment
dumae
Since I have a huge priority on AVs that are light, I'm using MS Security Essentials nalang from Avast!. Do I get a less intrusive A/V program? Yes. Sometimes I wonder about the security but I figured as long as I don't really visit questionable sites, I'm good Quote Link to comment
skidz69skidz
I don't use anti viruses since I am able to delete/detect viruses manually. But Avast is my personal choice because it is light for gamers and it has a boot scan feature. Deleting viruses before Windows starts is a lot more effective. Malwarebytes is not an antivirus but it's a very good scanner to go along with Avast. Quote Link to comment

deathvans
malwarebytes or avast for anti-virus.I'll go for Avast for Antivirus.. That's what I've been using for many years and it's good.. (Ofc, black edition ) Malwarebytes is also an antivirus but it's more effective on running scan on computer... I use Mbam to remove virus on computer just like the other guy... But if you have money, go for Kaspersky You won't regret it Edited December 28, 2014 by deathvans Quote Link to comment
