deus
@PCG, i see that your site has a new and better look. But based on your website - products - motherboard - socket AM2 940 motherboard, why do you add the "940" after AM2 since AM2 is not a socket 940. Although AM2 or M2 has a 940 pin it is not compatible with a Socket 940 motherboard. Quote Link to comment

knives_out
more cores is better in multi tasking so mas maganda yung core duo Quote Link to comment
Don Carleone
2 cores is obviously better than one.. but, it depends on wat ur using it for.. if ur just gonna use it for typing etc. celeron pde na.. Quote Link to comment
poppinfresh2k5
not necessarily faster but at least when you run multiple programs it your computer wont be bogged down so much. multicore can make your programs faster if it written to handle multiple processors. the more the processors, the faster the program is processed. if its just your run of the mill program (which is most porgrams out there) they will only use one of the cores. but again if you have two cores, two programs na, they will each use a core or alternate between cores (OS na nag mamanage nun). if you have 3 programs running na and two cores, ayun salit salitan ulit but with less resources assignable per program. alam mo naman ang OS maraming programs yan running underneath the hood, so definitely having two cores will impact not on the speed of the program, but on how in general, your program will handle the bottleneck and slow down.
