I'm envious of Hannibal Lecter's memory palace and wish I have the drive to be patient and build one of my own. When I watched the movie Agora, I cried when the Christians ransacked and destroyed the library of Alexandria because I thought of all the insight and wisdom etched in those papyri and realized that there are a lot of things we'll never be able to know due to conquests and battles of religion.
