To add on this, especially for first timers, its not just who got to the intersection first. Since most main roads and intersections have stoplights. To be more specific, SBMA enforcers (not MMDA) enforces a full stop on intersections. Even on empty roads, you must stop at every intersection. This is more evident in driving in the USA. Which makes more sense since Subic is a Naval Base.

If you drive, it should be basic knowledge that you stop at every intersection. But with how relaxed LGUs and MMDA is outside SBMA, most drivers just slow down or some dont even slow down at intersections anymore.
