dencio
^^ How about all the other times they've met in the playoffs - '00 1st Rd (3-2 Lakers), '01 2nd Rd (4-0 Lakers), '09 2nd Rd (4-3 Lakers) - luck pa rin ba 'yon (or was it fixed?!! )? That's 5-0, if that's not having someone's number, then i don't know what is. Btw, from a guy who's always maintained that the only true measure of Success is Championships/Rings, that's quite a change of heart. Edited January 5, 2010 by dencio Quote Link to comment

He brought his teams to the Finals twice and was a heartbeat away from taking them to a third one and most probably a championship but the Lakers were extremely lucky in 2002. The shot of Horry in game 4, the intentional flying elbow by Kobe on Bibby in the closing seconds which wasn't called which would have turneed the tide for the Kings for that game. 2009 playoffs? Cmon, the Rockets were expected to lose and many thought by a sweep yet they extended the Lakers to 7 games. Jackson had Adelman's number in 1992, 2001 and 2002. Jackson was just lucky in 2002 and 2009. The Rockets lost 20 ppg and 10 rpg with the injury of Yao Ming in the 2009 playoffs. In my opinion, the Rockets had a pretty big chance of upsetting the Lakers with Yao. Correction, I equated championship rings with greatness and whatever team had the most championships is the greatest team. Who said anything about fixing? Guest megalodon
Coulda, woulda, shoulda - thus sayeth the master of "What if"! But there was the possibility of an upset if Yao Ming were there. What's so bad with what if? Back to the subject of Adelman. He is a successful coach but not a great coach. Much like Jerry Sloan. I think this season will be the perfect chance for Adelman to finally get that award... edited:...Si Sloan ba may Coach of the Year award na? Pepeng Manas
^good thing... pag yun ba naman eh natalo pa rin! hehehe! relatively easy schedule for the next games. 10-12 (including against the NYK) at home. buti naman! pambawi naman sa mahirap na sked. Quote Link to comment

CELTS
latest pls on the t-mac trade issue? i believe he was given a leave of absence with pay so he can do whatever he pleased away from the team. the team have decided that they don't want to disrupt the current chemistry by giving in to T-Mac's demand for more playing time. The team will eventually try to find a trade for him. Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
the problem is which team will agreed to shoulder the bulk of TMAC's contract... at hindi pa nkikita kung successful nga yung recovery nya galing sa injury. Quote Link to comment
