kwaxinator
tingin ko ay dpende ata sa matchup yung lineup ni Rick Adelman.. Artest is nursing his injury so nililimit ni coach rick ang oras niya.. plus, pinapalaro niya si Battier kasi significant time ang nawala kay Battier.. I would rather have Brooks on the starting group with Tmac, Yao, Scola and Battier.. then have a 2nd tier of Alston (to keep the pace steady), Artest (Scoring Punch) and Landry (inside pounding) and throw in Wafer, Head and Barry for the rainbow shots.. _eRon_
we get our 19th win against new jersey; i think 3rd pa din houston sa west & 2nd in their division with a 19-9 record..yao with 24 & brooks with 22..go rox!!!! Quote Link to comment
_eRon_
badtrip talo sa cavs; 19-10 na rockets.. Quote Link to comment

Pepeng Manas
*sigh* rockets' loss to cavs... i guess a lot more tweaking for the rockets if they really want to win it all. looking forward vs boston. Quote Link to comment
_eRon_
badtrip talo sa hornets! 19-11 na tyo; 5th in the west; 3rd in the division; 1-2 tayo sa 4 game road trip..hirap ng roadtrip; utah jazz last stop..a win at new jersey then losing to the cavs & hornets; i hope we can bounce back against the jazz, go rox!!! Pepeng Manas
so much for waiting for boston. can't even get a win against washington. and can't even finish the jazz within regulation after dominating the whole game. Quote Link to comment
wizard23
what's wrong with the rockets? losing even to the wizards. they were the early favorites this season. i guess it's the injury and chemistry. or maybe the difference is the absence of Dike and Shane Battier. they made the difference in shutting down their opponents last season. they should bring back their intensity last year when they made the historic 22-0 record. or maybe they got complacent since Yao is playing. _eRon_
wah! badtrip talo sa wizards! wala pa si caron butler nun ah! the rox are becoming inconsistent; di kasi makakompleto ng line-up; just like seasons before; injuries na nman kalaban ng rockets, i hope we can overcome these injuries & be complete before the playoffs para makaplayoff push tayo at magkaroon ng magandang seed sa west.. the rockets are currently 20-12, 5th in the west; go rockets!!! Wyld
They were unprepared for Antawn Jamison who is turning out to be one of the better players around. Rafer Alston was missing easy shots, so was TMac. The heroics of RonRon came too late in the game. Quote Link to comment
darth_johnnie_walker
Mutombo, 42, signs with Rockets HOUSTON (AP) -- The Houston Rockets re-signed 42-year-old center Dikembe Mutombo for the remainder of the season on Tuesday, adding an emotional leader and a backup to Yao Ming. Mutombo, who supplants 39-year-old Sam Cassell as the league's oldest active player, appeared in 39 games for Houston last season, logging most of his minutes after Yao broke his left foot in February. Mutombo averaged five rebounds, three points and 1.2 blocks. The Congolese-born Mutombo became a free agent after last season and contemplated retirement before deciding to come back for an 18th season. The Rockets' win-loss record dropped to 20-12 on Monday after an embarrassing 89-87 loss to Washington. Nearly every player on the Houston roster has missed games due to injury this season and Yao has sat out at least 25 games because of injuries over the past three seasons. Mutombo started 25 games last season, mostly after Yao broke his foot, and averaged 16 minutes per game. The Rockets traded Steve Francis to Memphis on Christmas Eve, creating salary space to add Mutombo, the NBA's second-leading career shot blocker behind Hakeem Olajuwon. The Rockets play Milwaukee on Wednesday and Mutombo was expected to join the team, though it's not known when he'll start playing again. The 7-foot-2 Mutombo has played for six NBA teams -- Denver, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York and Houston. Mutombo's teams have made the playoffs in 13 of his 17 seasons in the league, including three of his previous four with the Rockets. He averaged 14 points and 14 rebounds to help Philadelphia reach the NBA finals in 2001. The Rockets have lost six straight playoff series and haven't advanced to the second round since 1997.
