mlpf
I bought a 2005 Vios 1.5G as my first car. I sold it for a good price and got the 2010 Vios 1.5G. My father also bought Toyota cars. He bought the Corolla and the Corona. I am satisfied with Toyota cars as was my father. Durable and cheaper to maintain. I am having a great time with the 2010 Vios. I agree that regular PMS is needed to keep your car in good shape. I've had bad experiences with Toyota Cubao and Quezon Avenue. I bought my car from Toyota Manila Bay. Any feedback about the service of Toyota Shaw? Thanks. Quote Link to comment

tatang1972
I have a personal experience with a 2005 toyota innova. Ung mileage nya nasa 38k pa lang. The problem with the car is namamatay sya pag tinanggal mo ung paa mo sa accelerator to apply brakes. Seems like nachoke ung car. It was already checked and services by toyota service center but the problem persist. Quote Link to comment

blueflower
Toyota Fortuner diesel also has the same problem with Innova. Biglang namamatay din kung minsan. Quote Link to comment
knoll1234
mass production must equal good quality control...which is not the case. My wife had 2 toyotas ( corolla and van) lasted 18 years and 13 years respectively. the main problems we had were, brakes, water pump, and transmission.the check engine warning light would always come on and off but the cars would run fine. other than thatm change oil, tires and they would run forever. dickdagger
Toyota Libis at Shaw.. Hirap makipag-usap dito kapag hindi sa kanila ang car loan.. Kulang na lang eh sabihin nila na di puede magbenta kapag hindi in-house car loan. Eh ang taas naman ng rates nila. BAD TRIP makipag-usap dito. Quote Link to comment

Toyota <img src='http://manilatonight.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsdownsmiley.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsdownsmiley:' /> Ba't di na lang palitan floormat? There has been cases here (reported in the news) that some of those claiming rapid acceleration of their Toyota cars were in fact lying. Most claimed using the brakes (main and parking brakes) but upon study (remember, computerized na karamihan ng cars dito) the brakes were not applied. Some were atempting to get money from Toyota or couldn't pay for the car anymore. Kaya ayun ibinabangga na lang kotse nila. Quote Link to comment
joycelim
Recently bought a Rav4. The car is excellent but the Customer Service in Toyota Quezon Avenue absolutely sucked!!! =( Quote Link to comment
KCR101
In my experience, Toyotas have been pretty much reliable and normally take longer to break down than (most) Japanese brands, and most noticeably also because of their easy to find and cheaper parts. My $.02 worth on casas are, don't rely on them because they are bloodsuckers. Get a good mechanic instead and save a ton of money. The only problem I'm having with Toyotas now is that the suspension of their newer models are awful, most especially for the new Altis and Fortuner. The best way to describe it is, if ever you've ridden a kalesa, you'll know what I'm talking about. What gives? Quote Link to comment
