johnlove
If taxi drivers group together and are just hanging around, expect their rates to at least double the normal fare. Quote Link to comment

grandkaiser13
Yellow taxi at arrival area of NAIA terminal 1 di consistent sa singil. Php. 600-800 lang dapat ang from airport to Taytay, siningil ba naman ako ng Php 2,000??? FTW??!! And they called themselves "Metered Taxi". Di na ako sasakay dun, ever! I'm being unfair kung sasabihin kong lahat sila, pero KARAMIHAN sa kanila ganon eh. Mas ok pa ang mag coupon trip sa Avis. Kelangan mo nga lang magpa-reserve 3 days before your arrival. Pero sulit naman at ok yung mga drivers dun, di sila manghihingi ng tip o kahit na anong extra. March 2012, white taxi charge me 2x from Eastwood to Manila East Hospital, kundi lang talaga emergency yung situation nun malamang bumaba na ako. Xaverville is a good one. mabait at madaling kausap yung mga drivers. They will even offer to help you load/unload your stuffs from the trunk of the taxi. "Nuff said regarding the Batingting Group of taxis. Be warned guys. Quote Link to comment

Smooth-Operator
THIS! http://www.fashionpu...f-mge-taxi.html http://www.linkwithin.com/pixel.pngSUNDAY, JULY 13, 2014Letter from a Reader: Beware of MGE Taxi Driver! http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-a28syR0Ng2E/U8CUQGCpERI/AAAAAAAA0c0/D0RIgDYtCHw/s1600/image+(1).jpgHi Mike! I just want to send a warning to your many readers. Today, July 11 at around 4pm, my 10-year old daughter and I boarded this taxi cab in Katipunan, just right outside my daughter's school. I told the driver to take us to Eastwood. I already sensed his apprehension but he still drove towards Eastwood so I thought it was okay with him. The traffice was horrible. It was slow moving and we hit a couple of gridlocks. The driver, I noticed, kept on snorting in disgust. I ignored it. Later, he was already whining "haay! ang trapik! lugi tayo nito!" "kala ko ba naghihirap ang pinoy, eh bakit ang daming sasakyan sa kalye?" My daughter and I just looked at each other and did not reply. But when he said, "tanginaaaa! tatanga ng mga drayber!" referring of course to the other moving vehicles around us, I told him "manong, may bata ho kayong pasahero. wag naman kayo magmura." He kept quiet and stopped whining. When we got to Eastwood, our fare was at around 170. I gave him a whole 200 bucks. He looked at my 200 and said "plus 50 mo na. Trapik eh! Dapat nga di ko na kayo sinakay!" I told him, "Binigyan kita ng 30 na sobra. Ako ang mag dedecide kung dadagdagan kita. Hindi ikaw ang magdedemand. Kahit saan ka pumunta, matrapik talaga." I, then, went down and joined my daughter who was already standing by the sidewalk. To my surprise, the driver came out of the taxi and started screaming in the middle of the street "Hoy! Bayaran mo ang oras ko! Bayaran mo ko ng tama!" I was so shocked. I called the guard of Eastwood and told him that the driver was harrasing us. The guard shooed him away. The driver kept on screaming the same words and the guard led him to enter his taxi, telling him he was causing traffic. My daughter then told me to enter the mall and leave the taxi driver. Good thing I was able to take a photo of him and his taxi details when he was ranting on our way to Eastwood. I already had a suspicion he was up to something. Beware of this driver! Thank you FP for publishing this. Very truly yours,J. Joya katakot naman yung mga txi driver na ganito...nagmumura pa Quote Link to comment
