teio
okay lang na kalaban ang everton... kaso mahirap 'yung mga sunod na laban... i'm betting on arsenal na manalo sa CL... in the new rule... the champion will automatically have a place in the competition to defend their title...I also hope that the Spurs will be able to secure the last spot. They're yet to face Everton (April 15), ManU (April 17), Arsenal (April 22), and then Bolton (April 30). Sana matalo Bolton sa Sat (vs. Chelsea).<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quote Link to comment

dj_flip03
Sorry REDSHIRT, but ManU's dream is finally over. They were held to a goal-less draw by the Black Cats (Sunderland). Edited April 14, 2006 by dj_flip03 Quote Link to comment
_eRon_
bwiset!!! 0-0 to sunderland..that sucks..well you win some, you lose some..go ManU!!..excited na ko makita kung sino magiging bagong players ng ManU.. feeling ko sa Tottenham na talaga ang last place for the Champions League, masama talaga nilalaro ng Arsenal domestically, mas ok pa nga ang laro ng Blackburn sa kanila.. pag hindi nagchampion Arsenal sa CL, goodbye Thierry Henry..san kaya siya pupunta? ang rumors sa Barcelona daw..ang tinding attacking formation nun..Eto'o & Henry upfront tpos Ronaldinho & Deco, grabe siguro yun, dudurugin na lahat ng kalaban nila.. dj_flip03
O sige na. May pag-asa pa rin sila. Basta dapat MATALO, hindi draw kundi MATALO and Chelsea at all games and dapat ang ManU MANALO, hindi rin draw, kundi MANALO at all games left. Fortunately they won over Tottenham last monday. Kaya pwede pa. By the way, I was a fan of ManU (around 1998-1999). But that was then Quote Link to comment
_eRon_
ei, nakalimutan nyo ata, Manchester United fan din ako.. panalo ManU sa Spurs, 2-1..two goals from Wayne Rooney to seal the win for the Red devils and keep their hopes of stealing the title from Chelsea.. Manchester United vs. Chelsea on April 29, kelangan manalo ng ManU para may chance pa din sila manalo sa EPL.. Pero yun nga, at least ManU is definitely going to the Champions League next year.. teio
me too... back when beckham was still casting his magic in the theatre of dreams... and when they were the good boys... with the boys in red from merseyside as their opposite...By the way, I was a fan of ManU (around 1998-1999). But that was then<{POST_SNAPBACK}> chelsea needs just a point to clinch the title... and why is there still such a fuss on overtaking them for the trophy?... the more important thing right now for manchester united is to secure the second spot to have an automatic place in the next champion's league... liverpool is just knocking behind them... _eRon_
Champions League: Barcelona too strong for AC Milan in first legWritten by: Jonathan Roorda http://www.soccerway.com/news/2006/april/1...an-in-first-leg MILAN, Apr 18 (SW) - A goal from Frenchman Ludovic Giuly earned FC Barcelona a valuable 0-1 victory at AC Milan in the first leg of the Champions League semi finals. Fifteen minutes had been played at San Siro stadium when the hosts almost took the lead. Alberto Gilardino attempted a strike on Barcelona's goal but hit the post. Not much later, it was Shevchenko to scare the visitors but goalkeeper Víctor Valdés did well to block the Ukranian's shot. In the next phase, Barcelona put more pressure on their Italians opponents with chances for Samuel Eto'o and Ludovic Giuly but 'keeper Dida kept the ball away from his goal. The first yellow card of the match was for Carles Puyol in the 35th minute. The Catalan defender committed a foul Kaká and was booked by French referee Alain Sars. In the second half, Barcelona were looking for that important away goal and the guests were awarded for their work when Ludovic Giuly broke the deadlock in the 57th minute. The Frenchman received a perfect pass from playmaker Ronaldinho and got past Kakha Kaladze before beating Dida. Barcelona almost doubled their lead in the 64th minute. A counter-attack enabled Ronaldinho to try his luck but the Brazilian hit the post with Dida beaten. Defender Oleguer injured himself while ending a Milan attack and had to be replaced in the 75th minute. Thiago Motta came on the pitch to defend Barcelona's colors for the remaining time. At this point, both sides created small chances with Milan hunting for the equalizer while Barcelona tried to lock the tie. Milan almost equalized in the 80th minute. Substitute Massimo Ambrosini received a through-pass from Kaká and had the perfect opportunity to score, but his diagonal attempt went well wide of Barcelona's goal. A foul from Alessandro Nesta on Ronaldinho earned the defender a second yellow card a minute later, and the victim only just missed the following free kick. Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard took off Ronaldinho in the 90th minute, and brought on Maxi López for the remaining minutes. In the final minutes, Barcelona kept the ball on Milan's half and made sure to avoid sudden counter-attacks. The final whistle sounded after three minutes of added time, and Milan will have a more than difficult task to beat Barcelona at Camp Nou in the second leg.
