vrij
The first lesson in swimming is to try to stay underwater for the longest time you can. Do it several times that having water surround becomes normal and comfortable. The best starting place to do this is in a swimming pool and where you can just squat and stand to do this. Stand to breath. Squat to put yourself in water. Quote Link to comment
parker08pal
Learning how to swim can be scary when you don't know what you're doing. It is not easy to learn for yourself on how to swim and better a need help of others who knows it. The first we need to do is let go of your fear in water. Second is get used to floating. Don’t panic. And lastly, practice exhaling underwater. Hope it helps. 🏊♀️🏊 Edited May 14, 2023 by parker08pal Quote Link to comment

neilgayuman
I just kept practicing floating until it stopped being scary. Still not the most confident swimmer, but I have no hesitations diving into deep water now. Quote Link to comment
