Smoking And Weightlifting

i dont know what is the real effect of it pero ako i do smoke pero i go to gym, marami din naman dyan malaki ang katawan mga bouncer pa nga pero they do smoke...

what did you notice? may effect ba sa resistance level mo? may bawas ba sa strength mo?

do you do cardios after or before smoking?

I agree with pool parrot. Since your body is still in the recovery stage, it is not recommended to smoke immediately after your workout. And indeed your lungs are open and prone to nicotine. Smoking and working out are not a good combination. i admit that i smoke but as much as possible i do it in moderation.

FOR ME, smoking after a work out is a form of relaxation both physically and mentally...just like having a cigarette after a SEX-work out...

 

i remember when i was in the military, having a cigarette was the best thing after a looong road march or an intense jungle warfare training

guys, d nmn ako gym goer pero ngwweight lifting ako sa bahay, pra d magastos, and concious ako sa healt ko but pg ksama barkada nppainom ako, and nppayosi rin ako, pero ung yosi e tuwing ngiinuman lng kami which is abt 1 or 2 times a week.. cguro sa isang inuman session nkka 7 sticks ako.. malaki b mgging epekto sa health ko nun? T_T

kinakapos ako ng hininga pag nag cardio ako...yun lang naman sakin.

 

i smoke a stick after workout. that's it. yun na yng extent ng quitting ko. 1 stick. di naman ako kinakapos ng hininga even in cardio. sabi ng gym instructor, you need to practice breathing especially if you smoke. most of the times daw smokers inhale less but exhale more, kaya kinakapos. pero di ko alam kung medical fact yun o assumption nya lang. so far naman ok lang breathing ko...
