Barely. Was born in the late 80s na, so I grew up in the 90s. I do think growing up with no internet was nice. I feel so bad for all the kids constantly glued to screen like addicts. That can't be good for their development.

Born in the 80s but only got aware of my surroundings during the 90s era.

Yep.. birthyear was 1973;  grew up in Manila playing in the streets & had that tin fire truck.

Life was really good & quite simple back then.  

75centavos was the standard jeep fare for students back then. 

And a bottle of Pop cola is about 1-peso and 50-centavos, If I remember correctly

It was 90c by time I started commuting to school yung piso mo may sukli ka pang diyes...

Tatlong 25c ang isang tawag sa public payphone.. yung kulay red na may rotary dial.. Remember the song: "Tatlong bente singko lang aking kailangan.. upang makausap ka ng kahit sandali lang..."

Born in the late 70s, enjoyed the province life in the 80s. Asleep by 9 PM, up by 6 AM. Try to help at the market and play by the fields.in the afternoon. Ang batis nun, ang linaw ng tubig. Manghuli ako nun ng butete.
