Are You From The 80s?

Recommended Posts

Parang 70s yung mga post. Hehehe. Nung 70s ay aircon na ang Mitsubishi Colt Galant, Celeste and Lancer; Ford escort and cortina; Opel Manta, Ascona and Rekord; Holden torana, Toyota Corolla, Corona and Crown; Datsun 180B and 200C and siempre ang mga BMW and Chedeng. Sumikat ang adidas Stan Smith in early 70s dito na kinopya ng Pinoy which was the ABC tennis shoes. Mayroon pa ring Stan Smith up to now. And uso na noong late 70s ang EB or eyeball because of the CB radio. Naka-samsonite attache case ako noon. Tibay nya, buhay pa hanggang ngayon. Ayaw lang gamitin ng anak ko. Mabigat daw. :P

80s lumabas yung mga front wheel drive like the Nissan Stanza and Sentra, Ford Laser and Telstar, and I'm not sure yung Mitsubishi Mirage.

80s lumabas ang Guess jeans. PC and Apple. First time ko ring nakakita noon ng diskette.

I bought my first Pocket Computer or PC in 1981. It was a Sharp PC3500 with 3.5kb ram expandable to 10kb. You can write simple programs using BASIC. It was very useful then for solving engineering problems using simultaneous equations, iterations and matrices. Useful also for storing formulas. Hehehe. It was also durable.

I stayed then in YAKAL (1982-1985). Sino kaya taga-Yakal dito?
